I offer dedicated, in home pet sitting services designed to give your dog a calm, safe, and enriching experience while you are away. Your dog will be cared for in a loving, family based environment that is completely smoke and drug free, ensuring their health, comfort, and wellbeing are always the top priority. Rather than a kennel-style setting, your dog becomes part of our household, receiving individual attention, routine, and companionship throughout their stay.

Dogs in my care enjoy regular outside time in our secure, pet friendly backyard. The yard is fully enclosed and designed to allow dogs to safely explore, play, and relax at their own pace. Outdoor time is balanced with indoor rest periods, ensuring dogs are not overstimulated and always have the opportunity to settle and feel at home. Supervision is provided at all times to maintain safety and positive interactions.

Enrichment is a key part of my pet sitting service. Dogs are offered mentally and physically stimulating activities tailored to their age, energy level, and personality. These may include interactive toys, gentle training games, scent work, and structured play sessions. Enrichment helps reduce stress, prevent boredom, and support overall emotional wellbeing, especially important when dogs are away from their owners.

Your dog will also have the opportunity for positive social interaction with our own dog, Teddy. Teddy is well trained, calm, and experienced around other dogs. All interactions are carefully supervised and introduced gradually to ensure compatibility and comfort. If a dog prefers minimal interaction or needs space, their individual needs are always respected.

I am a professional dog groomer with a strong background in animal care and handling. I have completed the ACM30122 – Certificate III in Animal Care Services (Pet Grooming) course, as well as a six week intensive Practical Grooming Course at A Touch of Class in Boronia. I also hold a current Pet Emergency First Aid Certificate. Over the past 12 months, I have worked in multiple grooming salons, gaining hands on experience with a wide variety of breeds, temperaments and coat types. I also hold a current National Police Check that will be provided to you at the time of booking. 

I have also completed relevant practical training in animal behaviour and fear-free grooming techniques. This knowledge allows me to recognise stress signals early, handle dogs with patience and confidence, and provide care that prioritises emotional safety as much as physical safety. These skills translate seamlessly into pet sitting, particularly for dogs who may be anxious, sensitive, or require gentle handling.

Looking ahead, I am working toward starting my own mobile grooming business within the next two years, and pet sitting allows me to continue building trusted relationships with dogs and their owners.
