Hi! I'm Avalon, a passionate animal lover and experienced dog walker who would love the opportunity to care for your pets. 🐾

I have grown up around dogs my whole life and genuinely love spending time with animals. I currently have two dogs of my own, Ginnie, a Bordoodle, and Arto, a Tibetan Spaniel, and have several years of experience dog walking and pet sitting for family, friends and neighbours. I am also comfortable caring for a wide range of animals, including cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and fish.

For dog walks, I usually offer walks of around 30–60 minutes, depending on the dog's age, energy level and individual needs. I am happy to explore local parks, quiet neighbourhood streets, walking trails and other dog-friendly areas. I am also happy to drive to suitable parks and trails to give your dog a change of scenery and a more enriching walk. I can adjust the pace, distance and style of the walk to suit your pet, whether they love an energetic adventure, prefer a relaxed stroll with plenty of sniffing, or need a little extra patience and encouragement.

I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and needs. I am comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to older dogs, and have experience with dogs that require additional patience and training. I have previously worked with a Kelpie who was initially very reactive and required lots of training, which taught me the importance of reading body language, being patient and adapting to each dog's behaviour.

During home visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, cuddles and general companionship, while following any specific routines or instructions your pet has. I am also happy to bring in mail, water plants and help keep your home secure while you're away.

For sleepovers, I am happy to stay in your home and maintain your pet's usual routine as closely as possible. I can provide overnight companionship, feeding, walks, play, medication where appropriate and plenty of attention and reassurance. I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable and settled when their owners are away, so I always aim to keep their routine as familiar as possible.

I am reliable, responsible and attentive, and I will treat your pets and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I am happy to communicate with owners throughout a booking and can provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pets are doing while you're away. ❤️🐶🐱🐰
