About Carolyn
Thank you for checking out my profile.
My name is Carolyn and I have been a professional cat sitter since 2018. I am a mature cat lover who relocated to Ballarat in June 2024.
I undertake home visits for your cat(s) and other small pets.
I have over 7 years professional experience with purebred, senior, geriatric, timid, anxious, and rescue cats who prefer to stay in the comfort of their own home.
Some cats do not cope in boarding facilities or being in a new environment. They can become overly stressed, refuse to eat and become reactive, which is normally out of character for them.
Keeping your cat(s) safe, secure & relaxed in their home environment is important to their overall wellbeing. Especially while you are away. I have also cared & attended to chickens, budgies, tropical fish, guinea pigs, lizards & even a python.
MY SERVICES INCLUDE:
*Daily Home Visits: 30-40 minute service which includes: •washing food bowls •feeding your pet their regular food/treats •refreshing all water bowls •litter scoop/enclosure clean• quality one on one time, that can include cuddles, pats, brush, playtime or cuddles. Max. of 3 up to cats
*Seasonal pricing applies over Christmas & Easter public holiday periods.
*Twice Daily Home Visits: 2 x 30-40 min visits. AM & PM service on the same day. The same routine as a daily visit, but with twice the cuddles, love & companionship. Max. of 3 cats.
*Seasonal pricing applies for Christmas & Easter public holiday periods.
Keeping you Updated: After each visit you will receive a message update including photos. I include the option of a short video.
Keeping you updated gives you peace of mind and reassurance. If I have any concerns for the health & wellbeing of your pet(s), I will contact you immediately or your emergency contact.
Medications: Even relaxed, chilled cats who are used to taking oral medication from their owner, can be untrusting & allusive with a different person. I am happy to give your pet their medications if it can be mixed into their wet food or hidden in a creamy treat/churu. Previously I have cared for cats with hyperthyroidism.
If injections are required, I give the option of undertaking additional short pop-ins (complimentary) to ensure kitty is comfortable with a new person giving their injections. I am more than happy to take the time to understand your cat's/pets medication needs in more detail.
Other service options: •Letterbox check •Parcel collection •watering indoor plants •organise garbage collection •turning on/off lights, TV, blinds etc.
Thank you for reading my profile in full and I look forward to caring for fur babies soon.
