I’ve always loved animals and I have lots of experience caring for pets. I grew up with family dogs and have also had a much-loved dog of my own. These days, I enjoy giving plenty of love, attention and care to other people’s pets.

I’m available to care for dogs, birds and other pets, although unfortunately I’m allergic to cats. I particularly enjoy the company of small to medium-sized dogs, up to about 12 to 14 kilos.

I live in a small, comfortable unit with a secure little courtyard with a shaded area at the rear. There’s a lovely area not far from my home where I can take your dog for walks and some fresh air and sunshine.

Usually on day's I'm not working, I take the dog for a morning walk and perhaps, depending on the dog's energy, perhaps an afternoon walk or a ball throw at the park. In the evening I may cuddle your fur baby on the couch. Some dog owners prefer a dog play area for the pet to run around in and I will be happy to accommodate your needs. I'm happy to provide medication if required, with your pet's food. At the moment I work part time, some days but I am also looking for more work, so please feel free to ask me what my situation is, if you require more time is spent with your pet. 

For boarding at your home:

I currently work part-time, so on the days I work I may be away from your home for around 4–5 hours. On weekends I may also go out during the day from time to time. I’ll always discuss this with you beforehand and make sure the arrangement is suitable for your pet’s individual needs.

If appropriate, and with your permission, I may also take your dog with me when I go on an outing, so they can enjoy some extra company rather than being left at home.

I’ll treat your home with care and respect, keeping doors and windows secure and following your usual household routines as much as possible. I’ll make sure your pets are safe and comfortable, and leave your home clean, tidy and secure.

Most importantly, I want you to feel confident that your pets are being cared for with kindness, attention and genuine affection while you’re away. 

I understand how important it is to know that your pet is safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away. I’ll treat your pet with the same kindness, patience and affection that I would give my own.
