I first decided to become a pet sitter when my Lab was very young -back in 2003 - as a way to keep him company while I was at work. Many years have passed since then, and sadly, my furbaby passed in 2019.  

The following year, I started missing having the company and love of a dog, but I was not ready to have another dog of my own. So I started minding again, as well as I became a volunteer for Lab Rescue. 

Today - 2025 - I have fostered 6 labradors who were successfully adopted after sharing 2-5 weeks with me. 

Also, I now have a stable base of repeat furbabies that stay with me from as little as 4 days to as long as 5 weeks when their human family go away on holidays. I care for them as if they were my own and I share a bond with all of them.  

As I work from home - most of the time these dogs do not spend the day alone. I take them to my mum when I go to visit her, and I take them for a walk every day. Throughout the day, we play and hug many times. 

I won their trust and heart and they won mine.
