I love all animals and have always had dogs in my life.
I seem to end up with rescue dogs but that gives me a great deal of satisfaction knowing that I'm helping unwanted dogs. I have a 16yr old Maltese X male dog (a rescue) called TJ and therefore won't take puppies as they are inclined to be too playful. TJ needs quite a lot of down time so I do prefer dogs over 18 months. TJ is so extremely tolerant of other dogs coming into the house. I'm sure he prefers to have me all to himself and I do try and give him breaks from my dog sitting committments.
I have been with Pawshake for a number of years now and love looking after all my furry friends. I have a lot of repeat clients and have two regular day sit dogs each Wednesday.
My home is a small Queenslander with a front and back yard.
The yard is fully fenced and secure.
All my dog boarders are completely spoilt and definitely allowed indoors and will sleep indoors if they want however I do require all dogs to be vaccinated and house trained.
I have a doggy door that leads from the living area out on to a verandah and from there they can access the front yard. Only smallish dogs would fit through but I'm sometimes amazed how bigger dogs manage to crawl throuigh.
The verandah steps lead down to the front yard.
Cheryl is lovely! Looked after our little guy with care and love even when he was a rascal with the wet weather. Thanks Cheryl!
Cheryl is absolutely lovely and I had great peace of mind that Molly was being beautifully looked after. Cheryl is also a prompt and great communicator, I very much appreciated the updates and photos on how Molly was going. I have already booked Molly in for two more stays with Cheryl and I feel very confident that Molly will be very excited to see her and TJ again. Thanks Cheryl 🙏
