Hi! My name is Paula, and I’ve been an animal lover my entire life.

Growing up in Uruguay, I was always surrounded by animals, and my family has two adorable dachshunds who I love taking care of.

Since moving to Brisbane, I’ve also had the opportunity to look after a friend’s dog, and they recommended Pawshake to me as a way to continue doing something I genuinely enjoy. That’s how I discovered the app, and I’d love to meet and care for more furry friends in my local area!

Looking after dogs has always come naturally to me, and I love spending time with them, whether it’s going for walks, playing, cuddling or simply keeping them company.

I understand that every dog has their own personality, routine and needs, so I always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable and loved. I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, walking and sleeping schedules, provide oral medication when needed, and keep owners updated with messages and photos throughout the day.

For walks, I’m happy to adapt the duration and route to each dog’s age, energy level and needs, whether that means a relaxed 20–30 minute walk or a longer outing. I always prioritise their safety and follow the owner’s instructions regarding off-leash areas and interactions with other dogs.

I’m responsible, patient and attentive, and I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’ll treat your furry friend with the same care and affection I give my own family dogs, making sure they feel happy, safe and well looked after while you’re away!
