Your pet’s safety and welfare is a big priority for us, which is why all of our Pawshake pet sitters undergo a strict vetting process by our trust and safety team. This is why Pawshake pet sitters also have reviews from other pet parents that are publicly available on their profile for you to read.

I am a 30-year-old passionate animal lover with extensive hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Over the years, I have looked after pets of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, which has given me a solid understanding of their unique personalities and needs. From playful puppies and curious kittens to senior pets requiring extra attention, I adapt my care to suit each animal, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
One of my key strengths is being able to manage pets with special requirements. I have successfully administered medication, followed specific feeding schedules, and maintained consistent routines to reduce stress. I also provide overnight stays when needed, making sure pets receive constant care and companionship in a familiar environment. My focus is always on creating a calm and nurturing space where animals can truly relax while their owners are away.
In addition to my personal experience, I volunteer at the AWLQ Gold Coast Animal Rehoming Centre, where I regularly assist in caring for both dogs and cats. This role has further deepened my knowledge of animal behavior, strengthened my ability to handle pets with different needs, and allowed me to support their wellbeing while they wait for a loving home. It has been an incredibly rewarding experience that has shaped my compassionate and professional approach to pet care.
I am dedicated, reliable, and genuinely passionate about providing the best possible care for animals. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playing, or simply giving them the affection they deserve, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting your furry companions and discussing how I can provide exceptional care for them!

Hi, my name is Amanda, a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for wagging tails and happy paws. I regularly care for my boyfriend’s 3 beautiful huskies, so I’m no stranger to high-energy walks, playful chaos, and plenty of cuddles.
My motivation as a pet sitter comes from seeing how much joy animals bring into our lives. I know how important it is to feel confident your pet is safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s keeping up with active dogs, giving gentle attention to shy pets, or sticking to special routines, I tailor my care to suit each personality.
Every pet I meet gets the same patience, affection, and respect I give to my own fur family. For me, it’s not just pet sitting – it’s making sure your four-legged friend feels happy and loved until you’re home again.

Hi! My name is David and I’m a responsible, active and calm person who genuinely loves animals and spending time outdoors. I grew up around pets and have always felt a natural connection with dogs — I truly enjoy caring for them, walking them and making sure they feel safe, relaxed and happy.

I live an active lifestyle and spend a lot of time walking, training and being in nature, so dog walking fits perfectly with who I am. I’m very attentive, patient and respectful of each pet’s personality and routine. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a calm walk, I adapt easily.

I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else. I treat every animal as if it were my own, always prioritising their wellbeing, safety and comfort. I follow instructions carefully, keep routines consistent and make sure pets receive plenty of attention and affection.

I’m motivated to work as a pet sitter because it allows me to combine responsibility, movement, nature and meaningful connection. I’m happy to care for vaccinated pets and I’m always open to clear communication with owners to ensure peace of mind.

I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!
