Hi, my name is Jess. I work as a teacher at a Preschool.

I love being around animals! I believe they are all that is good in the world! They truly make each day brighter and better.

I have had the opportunity to take care of a variety of pets whilst family, friends and other clients have been away including cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, birds, many different dog breeds, fish, frogs and turtles.

I have also looked after cats and dogs who have needed medication such as tablets as well as insulin injections including checking sugar levels, so I am comfortable with that if this is somethings your pet needs.

I don't have much experience looking after reptiles, but I am happy to as long as we can meet up before and you can go over how to look after them a bit with me. 

Before excepting new clients, I find the meet a greet process very beneficial so you and your pets can get to know myself and my partner to ensure we are a good fit. This is also a great opportunity to run through routines and expectations as well as any questions you may have. 

Whilst looking after your pet/s when you’re away, I will send you updates and photos of how they are going and what they are up to every second day. If you’d prefer an update each day or updates less often, I can accommodate this too, we can discuss this at our meet as well.  

My partner Marc, does assist me during most services. He is available to meet you and your pet at our meet and greet. He is a carpenter and is also a big animal lover and has always grown up surrounded by various dogs, a wolf and he has had pet mice too. 

I am happy to travel further than 10kms from Angle Vale for 1x home visit a day service with an added travel charge of $10.

HOMEVISITS 

During our pet meet I will discuss with you personally when the best time for me to visit depending on the best needs for your pet. I do work full time and will need to work around my work hours. During school holidays I am very flexible with times best for your pet.

Home visits usually are for around 30-40mins. Along with ensuring your pet/s have food and water, are played with and given lots of love and attention, I will clean their bowls, brush if required and empty litter trays/scoop up poo. I am also more than happy bring in mail, put out bins, and water plants at no extra cost. If there are any other small jobs you would like me to do whilst your away, we can also discuss this at our meet. I will also at the end of my time ensure things are left neat and tidy.  

If pets need to go on a walk during this time I'm happy to walk them as an add on service of $10 for a 20-30min walk. I am happy to discuss your pets needs further on this if they require a longer or shorter walk.

Unfortunately I no longer offer house sitting services at this stage.
