I’m a caring and reliable nursing student living in the Illawarra with a genuine love for animals. I grew up with dogs back home and really miss having them around while studying, so I love the opportunity to spend time caring for other people’s pets. My nursing studies have strengthened my attentiveness, responsibility, and calm approach to care, which I bring into looking after every animal. I live an active lifestyle and enjoy getting outdoors, so I’m always happy to take dogs on regular walks, play with them, and keep them mentally and physically stimulated. On a day-to-day basis, I ensure pets are well looked after with consistent feeding routines, fresh water, exercise, enrichment, and plenty of affection and companionship. I understand how important routine is for animals and always aim to follow each pet’s normal schedule to help them feel comfortable and settled. As I work part time while studying so I am home, allowing me to spend quality time with pets and ensure they are not left alone for long periods. I am also happy to learn and follow clear instructions for administering medications if needed, ensuring pets continue to receive the care they require. Safety and wellbeing are always my top priorities. I take care to create a calm, secure environment, closely supervise pets during walks and playtime, and always respect the individual needs and boundaries of each animal. I know pets are family, so I treat every dog in my care with the same patience, kindness, and attention I would give my own. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so owners feel reassured while they’re away. 🐾📸
