Hi!! My name is Sofia, and I moved to Australia 3 years ago. I work as an engineer for a Spanish company. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, but dogs have always had a very special place in my heart. Having a dog was my biggest dream since I was just six years old, and when I turned ten, my parents finally made that dream come true by giving me a puppy for my birthday. His name was Wolfy, and he was the best companion I could have ever asked for. He was part of my life for 11 wonderful years, and losing him was incredibly hard. Since then, I’ve always felt like a little piece of my heart was missing. As I moved abroad, having another dog of my own became difficult, especially with travelling and sharing a house with flatmates here in Australia. However, I’ve realised that I would love to stay connected with dogs in some way, and pet sitting feels like the perfect opportunity to do that. For me, spending time with your furry little ones wouldn’t just be a job; it would genuinely make me happy. I would treat your pets with the same love, patience and care I gave Wolfy, making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, and I would do my best to give you peace of mind through regular updates, photos and lots of cuddles for your little ones. I’d love to meet your furry friends and give them plenty of affection, attention and company! 🐶❤️ I live in Port Melbourne, but happy to drive short distances, if necessary. I work from Monday to Friday, usually finishing around 5pm. Afterwards, I'm usually free. And on the weekend I'm quite flexible. Happy to walk any distance, whatever is necessary.
