My name is Tessa and I am 22 years old, currently working as a Marine Biologist in Cairns after just finishing my degree in Zoology and Marine Biology. I have always loved animals and have grown up around them my whole childhood including dogs, birds, guinea pigs, rats, and rabbits, however now being out of home and in a share house I can't afford them myself. I really miss having dogs and think dog walking and sitting would be a fantastic alternative. I am an active person and love going for long walks anyway so to have some company while I do so would be amazing. I intend for my walks with your dog to be around an hour with some running mixed in there. I also love exploring new places so want to mix it up for both of us as much as possible. Throughout my degree I have volunteered at wildlife sanctuaries including Billabong Sanctuary in Townsville and other animal handling facilities which has given me experience in animal husbandry. I feel very comfortable with animals, particularly dogs and am not picky about breeds. This background has set me up for overnight pet sitting and you should feel confident your pet is in good hands. I am very excited to help look after your dog or any other pet even if it is as small as taking them for walks or checking on them throughout the day!
