Hello! My name is Loïc, I’m 30 and recently moved to Canberra after completing my PhD in Biochemistry in Brisbane at UQ. While my professional background is in science, animals and nature have always been a huge part of my life — and caring for them is something I genuinely love.

I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and developed a passion for them from a very young age. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs, cats and a wide variety of small animals, including rats, mice, hamsters, rabbits and even a snake. I’ve also fostered and volunteered with animals, which has given me experience caring for different personalities, needs and temperaments.

I currently live in Canberra with my partner and our little dog, Oreo, a friendly Shih Tzu × Poodle. We love spending time outdoors, exploring Canberra’s many parks and walking trails, and giving Oreo plenty of exercise and enrichment.

I’m someone who is patient, responsible and attentive to the little details that make an animal feel comfortable and safe. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow your routines, preferences and instructions to make sure your pet feels as relaxed and happy as possible while you’re away.

Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, some playtime, companionship, or simply someone caring and trustworthy to look after them, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. 🐾
