Top cities for house sitting in Australia

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Yugar QLD home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Yugar QLD.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Yugar QLD home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hello! My name is Josefa and I have always been an animal lover. As a migrant in Australia with a Work and Holiday visa, I seek to combine my passion for pet care with the opportunity to share quality time with them. I have experience taking care of dogs and cats of friends and family, always ensuring their well-being, nutrition, hygiene and constant affection.

My motivation as a pet sitter is to provide a safe space, full of love and personalised attention for each pet, adapting to their routines and needs. I offer walks, interactive games, food according to directions and affectionate company, ensuring that your furry feels happy and calm while you are away.

As a responsible, punctual and reliable caregiver, I am committed to maintaining constant communication with you, sharing photos and updates so that you always know how your partner is doing. Your pet will be in good hands!

Hey! My name is Riley and I run Waggy Tails pet sitting. I am an experienced Veterinary Nurse with over 6 years of clinical experience. Some of my hobbies include photography, golf and going to the beach. With me your pets will be safe and well looked after. My skills as an emergency vet nurse set me apart from others. I am both able to give the love and kindness to your pets that they deserve, I am also able to medicate and monitor your pets with medical conditions also. I am reliable and trustworthy. Hi. I'm Ian and I'm an experienced dog sitter and walker based in West End, Brisbane. I love caring for and bonding with dogs and can travel anywhere in Brisbane, within reason.
One of my favourite dog sitting experiences was looking after a family friend's Cavoodle for two months, and watching her grow in strength and confidence through TLC and lots of walks. I am also experienced in animal nutrition and have experience looking after many different breeds and sizes of dogs.
I also loved looking after a neighbour's boisterous Staffordshire Terrier and helping her to be more calm through exercise and care.
All owners have praised my communication with them, and care for their charges - I pride myself on keeping in touch with owners, communicating any concerns and building a strong, caring bond with pets.
Feel free to contact me if you'd like someone to look after your pooch! My availability is flexible and I am happy to do walks or dog-sitting at your place. I am available for short home visits and walks and also for longer stints as my work is flexible.

Hi! I'm a fun, caring and adventurous animal lover from Scotland who has recently moved to Brisbane. I'm 19 and would love to spend my free time caring for and bonding with your furry friends.
At home I have a cat called Cooper who I miss cuddling so much. My best friend has a Chocolate Labrador called Rueben, I used to take him on walks often while her or her dad was away. And in my home rather regularly we're two cheeky little Jack Russels, Fenn and Fae who always kept me occupied, they are my Dads girlfriends dogs but they were at my house so often they felt like my own, I walked them, cuddled with and played with them A LOT! So I feel pet sitting feels like the perfect way to bring a little piece of home here.
I'm confident with all breeds of dogs, big or small, energetic and playful or calm and just wanting cuddles. I'm also a cat lover so of course I would love to visit your cats for cuddles, to feed them and play with them.
Whether your pet prefers cuddles on the sofa, sticking to a routine, or getting outdoors for some fun, I'll make sure they feel happy and have a great time! Your pets wellbeing is my top priority.
I offer 30-60 minute dog walks or home visits, as well as pet/house sitting as well, tailored to your pets needs. I can't wait to meet your furry friends and care for them as if they're my own!

Late notice bookings are welcome.

As owners of three gorgeous Burmese cats, we understand theimportance of cats staying at home instead of boarding at a cattery. We have foundthat cattery stays cause them great stress and expose them to viruses from otheranimals and illness from stress itself. Since discovering Pawshake, we exclusively use the service ourselves.
