Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Victoria Point QLD home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Victoria Point QLD.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Victoria Point QLD home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Greetings, I’m Jarrod - a committed pet sitter with experience across more than 50 sits. I genuinely enjoy the company of animals of all kinds and approach their care with calm attention and reliability. People describe me as sincere, steady, kind, and responsible. I don’t smoke, drink, or use drugs, and I live a simple, quiet lifestyle that suits animals who appreciate a peaceful presence.
I’ve been a full‑time sitter since 2022 and have over 30 reviews and referrals available from housesitting platforms. I’m comfortable with all pets and animals, and I have hands‑on experience with many of them, including walking multiple large‑breed dogs at once. I grew up in a home with animals, so caring for pets has been a normal part of life from a young age.
I offer a range of services depending on what your pet needs - from short visits and walks ranging from brief outings to longer sessions, through to single‑night, multi‑night and multi‑week stays. For dog walks, I take your dog out for a focused, unrushed walk tailored to their pace and energy. For home visits, I feed, refresh water, clean up, give companionship, and keep an eye on general wellbeing. For overnight stays, I maintain your pet’s normal schedule, keep the home tidy, and ensure they have settled company throughout. I’m available seven days a week and can be flexible around timing to suit your pet’s routine.
When I’m with your pets, they have my full focus - I’m not someone who is distracted by my phone or rushing around. A small detail people often find interesting is that I spent a decade as a Buddhist monk, and I still live in a way that reflects those values and rhythms.
I look forward to speaking with you.

Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet parent to both a dog and a cat, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet’s daily care and routines. I’ve looked after dogs and cats with different personalities and needs, and I’m confident handling everything from energetic walks to calm, quiet companionship.
I offer dog walking and pet sitting for both dogs and cats, including feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter care, and administering medications when needed. I’m patient, attentive, and always focused on your pet’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
Whether your dog loves long, sniffy walks or your cat prefers gentle check-ins and routine, I tailor my care to suit them. I’m also happy to send regular photo updates and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in capable, caring hands.
I’d love to meet you and your furry family

I am located in wynnum, but happy to travel locally.
currently I am studying at university and have found myself looking for a hobby which is where dog sitting comes into play. I have a major love for animals and have grown up with them in my home all my life. with me you can be sure that your pet is safe and cared for while you are away. I am organised and responsible and have no troubles with being flexible to meet your demands and requirements.
i have experience with both smaller and larger dogs, cats, and exotic animals like rats and mice. I am confident that I can follow directions given from you and be able to ensure your pets safety at all times.
I have a passion for animals but with my current living situation I am unable to have pets in my home which is why pet sitting would be perfect for me.
I only accept vaccinated pets for everyone safety and well-being.
My interests include studying and going to gym and walks so you can be ensured that your pet's exercise if needed will be taken care of. As i am studying at university i am able to stay in your home while studying and keeping your pet company.
I hope to be able to assist you in the future with your pet sitting needs, if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact me ️
I have a wide availability and can cater to your needs where possible

I grew up in a home full of animals because my mum was a foster carer, so caring for pets has always been part of my daily life. From a young age, I helped look after dogs and cats with different temperaments, energy levels, and special needs. Some needed patience and reassurance, while others needed structure and routine. This taught me how to read animal behaviour and create a calm, safe environment.
I offer dog walking, daily home visits, and overnight stays. During walks, I focus on safety, secure leads, and adjusting pace and distance based on the dog’s age and energy level. For home visits, I maintain feeding schedules, clean litter trays, refresh water, provide playtime, and ensure your pet feels comfortable. For overnight stays, I prioritise maintaining your pet’s normal routine so they feel secure while you are away.
I am reliable, attentive, and respectful of your home and your pet’s needs. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing will always come first.

I am a 24 year old female who has spent her whole life surrounded by animals. I am employed full time but I can be pretty flexible! I have done a lot of pet caring for friends and family in the past but I am new to the app. I am super flexible and happy to work with almost anything when it comes to your pet. Please always let me know if the animal is anxious or easily frightened so I can prepared to keep them safe and happy. I have looked after animals with many different medical conditions including providing injections and medication (I am the medication administrator whisperer) like diabetes, anxiety and regular daily required medications.

I have cared for multiple cats and dog as consistent clients as they tend to feel like family. I have handled a few different situations from allergic reactions to snake bites which I have handled in a calm yet urgent matter. I don't tend to leave animals alone however if they ever are it would be documented and for a short period of time. I am able to do 2 visits per day during the week normally a morning and night/afternoon and then on the weekend up to 4 visits per day. If you require pet sitting I can stay for a few hours in the evening and up to 12 hours on the weekends and then overnight stays are between 5pm-8am.

My walk times are pretty flexible with about 30-60 minutes my normal. As I do work full time, early mornings or afternoons during the week is best and anytime on the weekend. I would normally come to the home and make sure a new pet feels comfortable around me and their lead, this allows both the pet and I to understand our new environments.

They fill my life with joy and I know everyone else agrees! I am a full believer in pets being your children, I will always treat every animal like my own. I have two beautiful kittens myself who are my whole world :)

Hello everyone!

My name is Manon, I am 30 years old and originally from France. I'm excited to be starting on this app and would be delighted if you'd entrust me with your beloved pet!

I grew up surrounded by pets, including cats, fish, rabbits, but most importantly, my loyal and unforgettable life companions: dogs. My family and I have always been deeply passionate about the Boxer breed. My experience extends beyond common household pets; I practiced horse riding for over 15 years and cared for very young horses. I even regularly looked after my father's two mules when he was away!

I am based in Loganholme. Unfortunately, my landlord does not allow pets, so I specialize in pet minding and care at your home (house sitting). If you are looking for a reliable person to look after your animal in their familiar environment, take them for walks, or simply feed them, I'm available after work hours (7.30am to 3.30pm) and the weekends

I also own a 4x4 vehicle, so if your pet has a favourite spot to stretch their legs, we can drive there with pleasure! (I often take my friends' dog, Kalisy, to the beach for a run).

On the French island of Reunion (near Madagascar), where unfortunately many dogs are stray, I fell in love with a stray puppy. With limited income, I contacted an association for help with vet fees. In exchange, I agreed to transport 18 dogs (19 with my own) who had found a family in France. It was an incredible experience to care for my rescue puppy and assist the association by taking all those dogs on the flight!

When you choose me, your animal will be pampered and well-treated. I truly love all animals, regardless of their size, breed, or whether they have a disability, mosquitoes are my only true enemies!

Hope to see you soon ! Manon
