Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Upwey VIC home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Upwey VIC.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Upwey VIC home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hello Everyone! My name is Alex and I love animals! I grew up with a dog named Harry and hemrit crabs hahah! Our family now has a pet named Teddy :) He is a Bichon Frise and gets along with both dogs and people. We want Teddy to have a play friend and also have more cutness in our home. Speaking of our home it is fenced and quite large both inside and outside. Teddy mostly is an inside dog but Teddy and guest pets can also do a walk around outside. We have experience in taking after pets from friends pets and other pets outside of Pawshake. My parents often take Teddy to the beach on Sundays and if you are open to it we can also take another doggy with Teddy and provide pictures. In terms of what I expect from pets
Dogs only: At this stage dogs only as Teddy despite showing no signs of agression has still not interacted with other animals besides dogs and don't see the point in taking the risk.
Size: Small dogs only at this stage.
Temperment: Friendly dogs only. We are fine with the dogs being slow, old and quiet or young and more energetic but the pet needs to be friendly. May request to meet up beforehand. More than happy to drive to an area to see how a potential new member of the family behaves.
Quantity: At this stage just one pet at a time. What you can expect from myself and the family: Teddy and a member of the family at home: If I am not at home Monday to Friday my mum will be. Very rarely there is just Teddy. On the Weekends there is always someone at home and I will make sure that any pet is very loved :)Lots of hugs and kisses :)
Walks: Mum usually does the walking and I usually do the running. Dependisng on the health, age and temperment of the pet we can do either.Food: We expect bed and food to be provided however we often cook Teddy fresh chicken. If this is something you want as well in addition to the food provided to us let us know.
Safe: As mentioned above we have a fenced house
Toys: We have dog toys but open to having new toys provided to us to make any pet feel more welcome.
Sleep: Pet will be sleeping in my bed or in a dog bed. Whatever the pet prefers.

I have always had a deep love and respect for animals, which is what motivates me to work as a pet walker and sitter. In my daily life, I care for my own dog - 4 year old mixed breed Luna! which has given me strong hands-on experience with routines such as walking, feeding and understanding canine behavior. When living in my hometown in Poland, I also cared for cats (Persian and European) and a turtle, and I gained broad experience with various rodent pets (hamsters, chinchillas, mice). This lifelong exposure to different animals has helped me develop patience, attentiveness, and a genuine understanding of diverse pet needs. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from wanting to provide pets with calm, reliable care while their owners are away. I believe pets feel most comfortable in their own homes, surrounded by familiar smells and routines, which is why I focus on walking and sitting at the owner’s residence. I adapt my care to each pet’s personality, energy level, and daily schedule, ensuring they receive both physical activity and While I do not take pets into my own home, I do expect pets to be up to date on vaccinations to ensure everyone’s safety. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well cared for, and to give owners complete peace of mind while they are away.

I'm Jess, I'm 26 currently working casually, I own 1 beautiful puppy dachshund, (I've owned 2 Rottweilers in the past, as well as birds, fish, cats, horses) who is a handful and have made me confident training all different sizes of dogs and personalities. Your pet is in safe hands as I love creatures of all sizes and would treat your beloved pets as if they were my own!
Senior dogs and puppies welcome of all sizes! I have treats and toys I can bring for your dog, as well as provide updates and photos! I am well researched in dogs of all breeds and can teach new commands.
Ruffey lake park is a beautiful area to walk your dog, I would appreciate the opportunity to meet your furry family member!
I have had pets all my life and would love to take care of yours! I am very vigilant in communication and can't wait to meet your dog!
please note I have a police check already and cannot host your pet in my home at this time. Reactive dogs are $60 an hour. i do not pet sit in a smoking household. Don't hesitate to contact me, I will happily drive up to an hour away for my clients!

I have had pets since I was a baby. I love taking care of cats and dogs. I have two dogs to who I love and who spend most of their day getting cuddles and getting to go on walks.I love all dogs no matter how big or small. I would love to come walk your dog or come house sit and give your dog all the attention they would enjoy. I understand not all dogs are lap dogs or want cuddles all the time but like to have company.I am a University student so while house sitting I would keep your dog company and playing with them or taking them for a walk while also doing some study.I would be happy to take care of puppies or older dogs, either for dog sitting or for walks. I understand that older dogs may need some extra love and care while going for walks and I am happy to do that.I am happy to come to give your dog their food during the day and making sure they are having a good time and relaxing.I love hanging out with dogs either playing with them or just lounging around giving them cuddles. I know every dogs needs are different and I'm happy to accommodate whatever the needs of your dogs are.
