"Hazel was not only fantastic with our pets but went above and beyond by making sure the house and garden were also looked after.
We were able to enjoy our holiday knowing everything was being taken care of at home! She took the time to get to know our pets and their personalities so they each got the same love and care we would give them ourselves.
Hazel even had the patience to solve an internet issue that arose with our provider.
Plenty of regular updates and swift communication, made even better by coming home to a tidy house with happy pets.

"Juan looked after our two dogs for almost three weeks while we were overseas (June 2023). Being staffies, they are particularly needy, but Juan had no problem looking after them. Received regular photos and videos, which was great. Will use Juan again next time we travel. "

"This was our first time having Sarah pet sit our 6-month-old puppy, Mango, and she was absolutely wonderful! From the daily photo updates, it was clear Mango adored her—he looked like such a happy, smiley boy the whole time. Sarah cared for him like he was her own and kept us reassured with regular updates. "Megan was an excellent pet sitter. She stayed in my apartment with my two cats for a week and took care of them and my place like they were her own. She communicated regularly, sending photos and updates on how the cats were doing. And bonded almost immediately with my shy cat who is usually scared of strangers. "Nadya was simply the best pet and house sitter we have ever had. Wonderful to deal with, incredible with the animals and looked after our house like it was her own. We have never used Pawshake before, but if Nadya is the calibre of pet sitters on the site we definitely will again.

"This is the second time Desi has looked after our two dogs. She does a great job. Desi followed instructions left for her with no fuss and her communication was great. She sent a lovely video of them playing together and from her communication, I could tell that she got to know the dogs' personalities and looked after them well. We wouldn't hesitate to leave them with her again."

"Jay was awesome, we needed someone at short notice so we didn’t get a chance for a meet and greet but that didn’t matter, chief is a big dog and it can be quite intimidating but Jay took it in his stride and knew how to handle himself around a big dog, I think even our 16year old cat thought he was a good pet sitter and i trust her judgement… so we would highly recommend Jay for your next pet sitting job!"

"Leonie did such a wonderful job looking after our two boys! They obviously felt very comfortable around her and she was so lovely to them. She communicated everything with us and sent us a photo of them all snuggled up in bed.
To our surprise, Leonie even took in our washing and folded it for us before the rain started. Our house was like she wasn’t even there at all. She was incredibly considerate and a great pet sitter! I would highly recommend Leonie!

"Fran was awesome! - we have a diabetic dog who needs a needle twice per day - wasn't a problem for her at all - she's studying to become a vet nurse and was the first sitter where we didn't need to do a practice run giving insulin. Plenty of updates and left a lovely hand-written note at the end of stay. I'm hoping she's available when we need a sitter again!"

"Corina just looked after our two very fussy cats, house, garden and worm farm for 3.5 weeks. We can’t recommend her enough. Pre-sitting communication was great. We received pictures and updates all the time. She looked after everyone perfectly, including dealing with a rogue possum coming into the house to eat the cats’ kibble. House was spotless when she left."

"Julianna was amazing from the start with clear communication and understanding of our specific needs. Julianna came for a meet and greet in my home and was introduced to our unique little animal family. I was nervous leaving for holidays this year as my big old dog Cinnamon has some extra needs. Due to old age she struggles with mobility, incontinence, some hearing and sight loss, so she is quite a lot of work to take care of. Julianna reassured me from the beginning that she was happy to look after Cinnamon so I could take my son on a holiday and was fine with Cinnamons extra needs.
We also have another older dog Hamish, our cat Tazi and Toasty the Bearded Dragon. Everyday Julianna sent me updates of how everyone was doing along with photos, including updating me on feeding routines. I loved the updates and photos so I could be assured the animals were all happy and calm.
Julianna went above and beyond buying extra food as needed for all the animals. I was delighted to find my house and yard amazingly clean and tidy when we returned home and the dog bedding had also been washed and folded.
I could not fault Julianna’s care of my animals and home, amazing communication, reassurance and professionalism as a house and pet sitter. I would 100% recommend Julianna as a house and pet sitter. We want to thank Julianna for the amazing job she did and allowing us to take a much needed holiday and the ability to relax knowing everyone at home was well looked after 🙏🏼. "
