Top cities for house sitting in Australia

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Stratton WA home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Stratton WA.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Stratton WA home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi I am Charley, I'm 25 years old and I am a massive animal lover and have been ever since I can remember.
I am from the UK and visiting Australia on a working holiday visa.
I treat every animal like they're part of my own family. I love meeting new pets and watching there characters come out as they get to know me. As a passionate life long animal lover, I understand how much your furry friends mean to you, I'm dedicated to giving them the care and attention they deserve while you're away, whether that's playtime, cuddle sessions or simply keeping them company & keeping their routine on track. I ensure your pets feel safe, loved and happy with me. I have owned cats, dogs and all animals in between throughout my life. I am also always first port of call for family and friends to watch their fur babies. I will always offer personalised care tailored to your pets needs. You can enjoy peace of mind knowing they're being treated with love and kindness every step of the way and are in great hands with me.

Hello! My name is Juan Carlos, I’m 25 years old, and I’m from Spain. Animals have always been a fundamental part of my life. I grew up surrounded by them, learning to care for them, respect them, and enjoy their company.
While I love all animals, I must admit that dogs and cats are my greatest weakness since I’ve spent the most time living with them. I understand their needs, unique personalities, and how to provide them with the love and attention they deserve.
As a pet sitter, I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and happy environment for your pets while you’re away. Whether it’s taking them for a walk, playing with them, or simply keeping them company, I’m committed to caring for your furry friends as if they were my own.
If you’re looking for someone responsible, attentive, and truly passionate about animals, I’d be happy to help take care of your beloved companions.

My name is Raphaël, a 21 years old Mauritian student looking to spend some time with dogs since I miss mine so much, I want to share the love I have for my dog to every other dogs because they all equally deserve it. Do warn me if yours has any diet restrictions because I might spoil them at some point. A fun fact about my dog is people say she looks like a lion but I think she looks like a blond hippo
I love walking dogs and cuddling with them, I think they were created as the ultimate cuddle buddy for humans, it's a constant loop of making the dog happier and the dog making you happier leading to even more good times. This is to me the essence of spending time with animals, dogs, cats, rabbits, birds... They are pets because there is something special about them that differentiates them from other species. They were born to love.
As you can see somewhere on my profile, I can only do pet sitting at the pet's house , that is due to my residence not accepting pets . I hope you can understand, but that does not prevent me from offering services and taking care of any pets .

Hi, I'm Ronald, 28, from Ecuador, and I can speak Spanish and English. All my life in my country, I have had pets such as dogs, cats, fish, turtles, and hamsters.
I can pet sit your dog or cat or anypet at your home. I will make sure he gets fed, have a fresh water, have the opportunity to go to the bathroom and get cuddles and play. One visit up to 1h $20, two visits a day $35.
I will walk your dog for 30-45min depending on their needs and fitness, $20, additional pet $10. I won't let dog off the leash in public space or exercise dog in the heat of the day.
In my house, we love pets, and we take great care of them in their diet and when they walk because they are one more member of our family, like a brother. For me, it is great to be able to spend my time surrounded by pets. I have learned a lot about taking care of dogs since it is the pet that I have had the longest for more than 15 years.
Our dogs have been from the same family since we first had Jade, a schnauzer dog who had her puppies, and we stayed with her and a puppy that we named Jade daughter. She had puppies, and in the same way, we are left with two of them now with Doruk, a puppy, and Nisa, another puppy, that are the ones we have at the moment, and all of them have had the good care that I have given them daily.
It would be a pleasure to continue spending my time with pets.

Hello pet-owners!
I am Giada, 32 years old Italian girl.
I work full time as front Office Coordinator in a Dental Clinic and my shifts are allowing
me to do woof and walk!
My family have always been pet owners, my parents taught how much love and joy our paw-friends can bring in our life and they always been part of the family!
I used to grow up surrounded by dogs, cats, turtles, fish and hamsters.
I live with my husband Manuel, he’s an auto mechanic and we have been together for 10 years beautiful years!
The house where we live now doesn't allow pets, so looking after others help to ease that void.
We are both active people ( non-smoker, no-drinker) and happy to take your doggos around parks.
I am comfortable with small/medium size dogs and cats :)
I am fully vaccinated and I have a police clearance certificate.

I am available on Mondays and Sundays any time.
My service areas are Carlisle, Vic Park, Belmont and Cloverdale
My services:
Dog Walking: 1 hour walk plus feeding
Home Visit: cuddles, feeding, watering plants, playing, collecting mail
I happy to provide constant update with pictures :)
Your pet will feel safe, happy and loved while mum and dad are away.
I will provide the same level of love and care that I would to my own pets.
Please don't hesitate to contact me for further information :)
