"Diana and her husband Sebastian were absolutely amazing pet sitters for our 2 little cats. They honestly looked after them soo well, I felt so comforted that they were in the best hands. They were so warm and loving to our cats and it absolutely showed when we came home, they were really shown so much love the whole time we were gone, they even got some new toys for them. We got great updates from them about the cats antics throughout the week. The house looked great when we got home and we absolutely will be using Diana and Sebastian as our pet sitters again in the future. 😊

"We recently had the pleasure of having Zoe look after our beloved Frenchie, and we couldn't be more thrilled with her. From the moment we met her, Zoe exuded professionalism, warmth, and a genuine love for animals, which immediately put us at ease.
During our time away, Zoe took impeccable care of both our house and our dog. We returned to a home that was just as we left it – tidy, secure, and well-maintained. More importantly, our dog was clearly happy, healthy, and incredibly well-cared for.
What truly set Zoe apart was her proactive communication. She regularly sent us delightful pictures and updates of our dog, which provided immense peace of mind. Knowing our furry family member was not only safe but also enjoying her time with Zoe allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our trip without any worries.
Zoe is reliable, trustworthy, and goes above beyond to ensure both pets and homes are given the best possible attention. We highly recommend her to anyone in need of a fantastic house and dog sitter. She's a true gem!"

"Sam was a brilliant dog/house sitter and our dogs loved her. Our two young dogs are a challenge at the best of times but Sam took in her stride everything they threw her way, including steak stealing, escaping from Alcatraz and sneaky pees.
The house was spotless when we returned and I am not sure the dogs missed us at all. Her regular photo updates were priceless and gave us the reassurance we needed that everyone was OK.
I cannot recommend Sam highly enough and I am already trying to secure her services for Christmas."

"Lily was a great choice. My dog (Zoe) is aged and has developed her own idiosyncratic behaviours. Lily listened to Zoe's needs and responded by providing the care required. Lily stayed at my house and treated it perfectly. I came home to a clean house, a well cared for and happy dog and even a welcome home gift. I will be using Lily again and highly recommend her. "

"Once again Danielle provided exceptional love and care for my two beautiful feline boys. I think she might be a cat whisperer as they clearly just moved straight into her care without a problem. She provided wonderful photos at least twice a day and updates on their behaviour and moods. She clearly cares for Sam and Dexter very much and I felt confident being away from them while she was looking out for them. She also left my house in immaculate order for which I am hugely grateful. Cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a true animal lover and a gem of a house sitter. No wonder she is in such high demand. Thank you Danielle !! "

"James took care of my cat, Scout, on a weekend away. She liked him immediately and there were some very cute pics of her snuggled up with him after not long at all - a sign of a good human and connection with animals! Thanks James for taking such good care of my girl. "

"I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter
From the very beginning, Ellie took the time to really understand my cats’ personalities, routines, and little quirks, which meant so much to me because Luki and Rex can be quite particular and anxious. While I was away, I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such caring and attentive hands.
She went above and beyond — not just feeding and cleaning, but genuinely engaging with them, playing with them, and making sure they were comfortable and stress-free. I loved receiving updates and seeing how relaxed and happy my cats were in their own home environment.
It’s clear Ellie truly cares about animals, and it shows in the way she handles even the small details. Coming home to calm, well-looked-after cats was the best feeling.
I would 100% trust her again and highly recommend Ellie to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely amazing pet sitter."

"Highly recommend Daniel as a dog sitter. We have booked Daniel a couple of times in the meantime as he is very reliable, great with our three dogs (including a giant dog), sends regular updates and photos, etc.
He house sat for us for several weeks while we were overseas and he looked after the dogs and house very well. Could not be happier. :)"

Why house sitting ?
Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your St Kilda VIC home while you are away.
House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like St Kilda VIC.
At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.
The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your St Kilda VIC home is also being looked after as well.
In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.
