Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Somerville VIC home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Somerville VIC.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Somerville VIC home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hello there! I'm Hannah an animal lover and dedicated pet sitter based in the south east of Melbourne. Growing up with dogs and cats, I learned the importance of companionship and care from an early age and I learnt they mean the world to me and they taught me about unconditional love and companionship and they have saved my mental health.
My journey into pet sitting has been going for over a year now as I love all animals and I have helped out friends and family walking there pets, I am super excited to make this an ongoing adventure to make relationship and gain bonds with your fur babies. I also foster kittens and cats to help within my community!
I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your little (and not so little) ones. That's why I’m committed to keeping your pets happy and healthy while you’re away or at work. Let's meet up!

Hii,My name is Maria Julia,I'm from Brazil,I'm 18 years old and I arrived in Melbourne two weeks ago to study english I always love pets,my whole family has a dog and had the opportunity to look after my families dogs,Chloe(Yorkshire) for years until she passed away,Theo and Wendy(Golden Retrieved)super loving,Bolacha(Pug)loves to jump and play also Buzz(Shitzu) that was adopted by my mother last year and we have so much fun together walking in the park along the beach and playing with his favorites toys I miss him very much,I think this job is perfect to me,I will be careful and protective like I am with my own dog and I would love to make some new furry friends!!!! I'm available for dog walks and pet visits!
If you have any questions, you can send me a message and I will be very happy to answer back as soon as possible!

I'm patient and gentle with pets and I am able to look after your pets as if they were my own while you are away. I will give care to each pet that is best suited to their individual needs. I am firm yet gentle with animals, using play and always positive reinforcement training to make sure they always feel safe.I love taking dogs on walks and making sure they get to go out and get their daily exercise. I have had plenty of experience with long haired dogs therefore I can provide basic grooming.I have worked at kennels previously, therefore I am very confident with taking care of your furbabies. I am more than happy to give any required medication to your pets. For house visits, I'm happy to take in mail, put out the bins and water plants for no extra charge.IMPORTANT: Multiple visits in a day for Daycare will have an extra charge of $10 per extra visit. My location is Patterson Lakes and I am willing to travel within a 15km radius from Patterson Lakes. All new customers need to go a meet and greet. Please give me your full address on the morning of the day before 8am and allow for at least 20 minutes for time so that your pet and I can get to know each other. I can also do key pick up and drop off before and after the pet sitting.I am excited to meet your fur babies!

Hi, my name is Ellen. I am 23 years old and am currently working part time at a local cafe! I have been a huge animal lover my whole life, having had 4 dogs, which have been my absolute best friends. I have mainly been around and cared for boxers so I am very comfortable with big dogs who have lots of energy and even the ones with behavioural issues! I eventually want a career in animal care or vet nursing. Although I don't currently have any professional experience in dog sitting I have always been around dogs, big and small, I have looked after many family member and friends dogs while they're away. I would love to gain some professional experience by doing something I love, while being able to help any families who need it. I am keen on pet sitting, overnight and day visits and also dog walking!!
