Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs at every stage of my life, which sparked a genuine passion for animal health, behaviour, and care. Through personal experience and ongoing research, I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.
I currently share my home with two laid-back Ragdoll cats who are very accustomed to dogs, having regularly dog-sat my family’s Cavalier and raised/trained a German Shepard. They truly couldn’t care less about canine visitors, which helps create a calm and stress-free environment. I am experienced in caring for pets with different personalities, whether they’re energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or somewhere in between. I always take the time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and boundaries so they can settle in comfortably at their own pace.
My daily routine is structured around the pets in my care. This includes regular feeding schedules, playtime, enrichment activities, and plenty of affection (for those who enjoy cuddles), balanced with quiet time for rest. Pets are never left unsupervised for long periods, and I closely monitor interactions to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. For dogs, walks are tailored to their energy levels and needs, whether that’s a leisurely sniff-filled stroll or a more active outing. I use secure leads and harnesses as requested and am mindful of weather conditions and local surroundings.

Safety is a top priority in my home. My backyard is fully enclosed and regularly checked for potential hazards, and I ensure doors and gates are always secure. I follow any specific care instructions closely, including dietary requirements, medication, or special routines, and I’m attentive to signs of stress or discomfort so I can respond promptly. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind while you’re away.

As I’m currently unemployed and have a Grade 1 child, I have plenty of time, flexibility, and attention to dedicate to your furry family member(s). Your pet won’t just be watched, they’ll be cared for, loved, and treated like one of my own.
I provide a cosy home with a spacious backyard, plus plenty of nearby parks and enclosed areas, so your furry family member can enjoy a safe and happy stay.&nbsp;

I’ve had a lifelong passion for caring for animals that started when I was very young. My mum is a retired veterinary nurse with over 35 years of experience, and growing up, our home was always full of stray and orphaned animals she’d bring home to care for. From tiny kittens to injured wildlife, I learnt early on how to handle animals with gentleness, patience, and respect for their unique personalities.
I have plenty of experience pet and house sitting for dogs and cats of all ages, plus I’ve cared for fish, birds, small pets, and even plants! I'm Heidi, I'm 36 years old and I'm from England. I work in Primary School education and I'm also a Head Gymnastics Coach. 
My friends know me as the 'one who loves hedgehogs' as I had a pet Pygmy hedgehog at 25 years old! 
I've always loved animals and from a young age I persuaded my parents to let me have Russian hamsters and Guinea pigs.
Whilst growing up I sponsored dogs at my local dog rehoming centre and have been a volunteer dog walker/kennel attendant alongside being a companion for the 'Golden Oldies' who were in their later years. 
Our family dog is a very excitable blue Frenchie named Bertie. He's back home in England and I miss him and his zoomies (!) very much.

Hello there! My name is Anton Feehan, 30 years of age and live predominatly in Melbourne.
Let me give you a quick summary of how I got here. The idea of house sitting was first mentioned to me whilst backpacking the east coast of Australia, as a way to reduce travel costs. However, my first house sit was after my travels, back in Melbourne ( December 2019 ). It was a fantastic experience , a wonderful home with georgous pets which I was lucky enough to do again. Then the pandemic hit and house sitting was not an option for the foreseable future.
My house sitting journey picked up again in 2021, where I began to housesit for friends and neighbours. I love to travel and explore, it is a huge passion of mine. The pandemic was a tough time and i wanted to help those around me, to travel and regain their sense of joy and wonder. Throughout 2021 I secured regular house sits throughout the Melbourne region. I have become well known in my area to be a reliable and professional house sitter. Word of mouth has become a new way of gaining more house sitting opporunities. I have spent the majority of 2022, house sitting for friends, neighbours and those that have discovered my services.
I'm guessing you would like to know why I do this? To put it simply , I really enjoy it! House sitting compliments my personality and strengthens my values. I enjoy exploring and engaging in different lifestyles. From city to beach to the bush, I want to experience it all! Hi, my name is Ellen. I am 23 years old and am currently working part time at a local cafe! I have been a huge animal lover my whole life, having had 4 dogs, which have been my absolute best friends. I have mainly been around and cared for boxers so I am very comfortable with big dogs who have lots of energy and even the ones with behavioural issues! I eventually want a career in animal care or vet nursing. Although I don't currently have any professional experience in dog sitting I have always been around dogs, big and small, I have looked after many family member and friends dogs while they're away. I would love to gain some professional experience by doing something I love, while being able to help any families who need it.
