Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Sefton Park SA home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Hi, my name is Ruth - I am a dual citizen (Australia & British) and I teach piano a few hours a week down south of Adelaide and the rest of the time I home school my 16 year old. I love pottery and walking - and I miss my dog Hamish so I love to borrow other people's pets! I am a non-smoker and rarely drink, as I have a strong focus on healthy living.I enjoy living in a clean and tidy space, and I value the places I have been able to call my temporary home. I will treat your home and belongings with respect, just as I would like to be treated by others (universal law).I understand very well that different pets have different needs, and I will maintain the daily routine of your pets as much as I can while I care for them, and am comfortable administering medications where necessary.Walking in nature is one of my favourite things. My child only spends 50% of the time with me, but for that reason I would need two bedroomed accomodation. Ace my son loves cats (has two of his own at dad's house) and very keen on ice skating. We used to live in the Eco Village in Aldinga and now being nearer Adelaide city is more convenient for us now that Ace has discovered his ice skating passion.I love gardening and animals, and I like to spend my time meditating, doing yoga, reading, messing around on my acoustic guitar and cuddling animals. I have owned my own house both in the UK (twice) and here in Adelaide (once) and I've had many rentals. I have an abundance of good references and have been asked back to the same places to housesit multiple times. I have an Australian National Character Check which includes police check.I would be more than happy to provide frequent updates on both plants and pets if you would be keen. You can travel in confidence knowing that your plants and house are in reliable, safe and capable hands.I'm happy to come and have a chat if you would like to meet me and our dates line up.

About me:
Hello, I'm Blake, a qualified social worker in both Taiwan and Australia.
I enjoy chatting with people, being outdoors, and spending time with dogs. While in Taiwan, I spent much time to caring for my hamster, and I've had two dogs, one since my childhood and another who's now four years old and currently living with my sister. I've also looked after my cousin's four cats previously, so I’m familiar with the different personalities and needs of both dogs and cats.
In Adelaide, I am living in a sharehouse, which means I am unable to take care of a pet overnight at my place. However, I’m more than happy to help with dog walking, home visits, or daytime pet care. I have experience looking after both small and large dogs, and I always ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’d be excited to meet your furry family member and help care for them whenever you need an extra hand!

I am a Mum of two beautiful girls 11 and 9, I also am Mum to a 4 year old stag hound Cross Bull arab, and a one year old Staffy X Bull Arab. We spend alot of our days at the dog park. Ive had dogs my whole life, I actually believe if you dont like dogs are you even a good person? Yes I know that's mean but seriously who doesn't love a dog, the puppy eyes, the excitement, the cheeky personalities and attitudes plus all that smooching and loving
I have two cats, one hates the world, one just uses me for food. I love them both as much as they love me, which some days isn't alot but some days I could just squish them with my love. Also grew up with Cats since childhood, had so many and at one time we had four .
Same as my kids ^ ^ . Love to hate me, hate to love me. They also adore animals, often far too much, sharing food, love and licks with them
I work in the Disability sector and look after two beautiful pooches for my Participants, walking them for 1 hour and another for two hours on each of my shifts, they love me, of course I'm the lady who walks them but I revel in their excitement to see me
I've been doing Disability care for 3 years almost and have a lovely bond for all my Pooches.
I am consistent, trustworthy and always arrive when I say I will.
My work ethic is based on Manners, respect, time management and most of all caring and loving the work I do whether it's personal care, cleaning up or walking a dog.
Dogs are something I've always wanted to work with and now I get this plus I get to help those who trust me to be their support. I love this part of my daily life.
I am happy to take Dogs for walks for 1 hour and will take them local to your area for walking, local ovals for ball throwing. If you prefer beach or other area then this can be discussed.
I am happy to pop in and feed your pooch or feline and also spend a bit of time with them, we can watch a movie or chill in the yard for a while. I can feed them for you and also will clean up any messes.
I cannot offer in home care as I have two dogs, and two cats and you can never tell if personalities will clash. I also cannot offer any long term overnight care due to family commitments and my other work as a carer.

My name is Jill, I'm 60 years old, mum to 2 dogs - Lamb Chop an 8 year old boxer and Honey a 3 year old Daschund. I am very excited to offer my services as a carer for your beloved pets.
I am mum to 3 boys and a grandparent to three perfect little people who I adore. I am now retired and want to spend more time doing things that I love and pets are my happy place.
I have become a pet sitter because I have been through the anxiety of where to find the best place to leave my own pets. Invariably that ends up being a trip with them. Or occasionally a son is living back in SA and will mind them. So, I completely understand the worry and I get the responsibility. I can offer regular updates and photos whilst you're away for some extra reassurance. Or, if you're like me, video chats with your fur babies.
For home visits I will come in and spend at least 30 minutes with your pet at each visit, playing, feeding, checking water is fresh and, if necessary I can water your plants and bring in the mail, attend to bins.
For walks I will take your pets for at least a 30 minute walk or less if that's what they require. I will not walk pets on hot days when pavements and roads are too hot. But can spend time in active play as an alternative.
If you can give me clear guidelines I would love to keep to your pets normal routine as closely as possible. Basically, I want to make your time away as unnoticed as possible by your pets.
Living in a small home with 2 dogs of my own I can't offer boarding or day care.

Hello! My name is Shannon. Back in 2018 I had experience with pet sitting as I used to travel to locations all over Adelaide with a friend to look after fur babies (can't help but call them that). It's been too long since I have had the chance to get back into it. And I finally have a decent amount of time to dedicate to being a pet sitter.
My motivation stems from a genuine love for animals, adoring all types. Cats in particular have my heart, they're the sweetest and I've never had a negative experience with a cat or a dog. Growing up I had a few cats which I still really miss.
Most of my experience is with small to medium dogs, and one Great Dane! And many cats.
Im willing to do drop bys to make sure the animals are fed, played with and walked, I'm also wanting to do overnight stays, as I love the responsibilities that come with looking after a pet. Making sure they have someone there, especially when I've built up the trust. I'd have one myself but I just can't financially justify that yet! So the privilege of taking care of a pet and giving you as an owner the peace of mind, that they are safe and happy (will always send pictures) is fulfilling enough.
I have a lot of spare time, and all the attention in the world to give to your pets. I'm always 15-30 minutes early once a schedule has been set, as it can give me time to get to know both you and your pet. I'm so keen to learn the different personalities that come with any breed.

A dedicated and compassionate pet sitter, I provide personalized care to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. With experience handling a variety of animals, including horses, dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals, I adapt to each pet’s unique personality and needs. My services include feeding, walking, administering medications, and providing ample playtime and cuddles. I prioritize maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize stress and keep them comfortable.

Happy to do any general yard maintenance required or feed other pets (birds, rabbits, etc). Work during the day (excluding weekends) so will walk, feed and care for your pets in the morning and afternoon. Happy to accommodate any other services that may need doing such as lawns.

Whether it’s a short day visit or an extended stay, I treat your pets like family, ensuring their well-being is my top priority. I am reliable, punctual, and communicative, offering regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind. Your home is treated with the utmost respect and care during my visits. Trust me to provide the loving attention and reliable care your furry (or feathered) friends deserve.

Look forward to meeting you and your loved ones soon.

Hi my name is Viviana I'm 29 years old I'm from Chile and I came here to study english and improve my communication skills.I am a dietician nutritionist and I have a diploma in natural medicine, I am a lover of nature, knowing and respecting every aspect of it. I grew up in the countryside, in the south of my country, surrounded by lots of vegetation and many animals. Since I was little I learned respect and love for nature and animals. I like to read, take walks in parks or the beach, ride a bike, swim, contemplate the majesty of nature such as sunrises, sunsets, forests, waterfalls, mountains and learn new things.I consider myself a petlover especially a catlover. As a child I have respected animals and I have learned about their care, how to feed them, be empathic and manage an appropriate environment for them.I am very close and affectionate with pets, I feel very happy being around cats, dogs and all kinds of animals. I enjoy spending time playing with them, making them expend energy, petting them, and giving them my affection. I also have experience walking dogs, going to parks to play and have a nice time.I would like to be a pet sitter because I know I have the skills to do a proper job and I miss sharing time with pets since I can't have one here. I feel that I need to be closer to cats and dogs and at the same time I feel that they will like to spend some time with me... They will certainly have fun.If you need my services o you need more information about me or my job yo can contact me.I'm available to pet visits, home care and dog walking.

I have been a dog parent for years and completely understand the importance of a pet in an owner's life. Pets only understand the language of love and I have seen it when I was petting my own or was baby sitting my friends' or neighbours' pets.
Though coming from an IT background, I realized it at the age of 40, what my real passion was. I want to spend time and get and give unconditional love from these species who communicate loud without words. A family who's passionate for dogs, we all are looking forward to welcome your fur baby with open arms. For the comfort of the pet, I am absolutely fine visiting the owner's home. My home is equipped with a gated backyard providing enough space for the pet to walk around and at the same time have open parks in less than 100meters range to go for long walks.
Dogs need space and it's best for them to run and develop their muscle strength. I am happy and comfortable to take them to leash walks in nearby parks and have them interact with their friends. While it's fun to play with them, but it's equally important to get them to a routine of play, eat and sleep. I believe in working with the owners to understand their patterns and likes/dislikes so they can be taken care of well. In totality, I have about 3-4 years of experience living and loving pets, but that has changed my overall perspective towards life and humanity in general.
Bringing up pets, make you more human and loving as an individual.
I look forward to spending fun filled time and loving time with your baby.
