Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Seaford VIC home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Seaford VIC.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Seaford VIC home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I am a caring and reliable pet sitter with a genuine love for animals, especially cats. I have a 5-year-old cat who I adopted after his previous owners were no longer able to care for him, and he quickly became the love of my life. Looking after him has given me hands-on experience with daily feeding routines, litter maintenance, playtime, grooming support, and providing comfort and companionship. Through this, I have learned how important consistency, patience, and trust are for a pet’s wellbeing.
My motivation for pet sitting comes from wanting to help other pet owners feel relaxed and confident when they are away. During visits or sleepovers, I am happy to follow your pet’s usual routine, provide regular updates, spend quality time playing or cuddling, and ensure their environment remains clean and safe. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, whether they are playful, shy, independent, or affectionate, and I take the time to adapt my approach to suit their needs.
I am flexible, dependable, and currently have plenty of availability as I prepare to start university in Melbourne. I prioritise safety and only care for vaccinated pets. I truly love pet sitting and would care for your pet as if they were my own.

I am a 19 year old from Beaumaris, I love animals and love working with animals! I'm trying to make some extra money on the side of my dog grooming. I completed a dog grooming course in March 2025 and been working at a dog groomer since October 2023. I also completed a tafe course, animal care cert II in 2023!
I work Monday-Friday, depending on how many dogs are in on the day I will finish earlier than 3:30pm, but usually my hours look like 8am-3:30pm.
I don't take other animals to my house because I don't want to stress my animals out!
My dog's names are Boo and Coki, Boo is my old boy, he is 11 but looks like a puppy and gets mistaken as a girl a lot and Coki is 9, she is a very sweet girl.
I have a cat too, her name is Bobbi she is only 1!

Hi, I’m Gab!
I’m a 40-year-old professional working for the Australian Federal Government, where I lead teams delivering strategic transformation and change projects.
Over the past year, I’ve been house and pet sitting across Melbourne and Victoria full-time, and I’ve completely fallen in love with the lifestyle. Spending time with animals is genuinely my favourite part of every sit — it’s the part I enjoy most and the reason I keep doing this.
I’ve cared for a wide range of animals, including dogs (from small companions to large and working breeds), cats (so many cats!!), chickens, rabbits, horses, birds — and even two llamas (a personal highlight!). I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I take the time to understand each animal’s routine, personality, and needs.
I’m an active and confident dog walker and genuinely enjoy long walks, so I’m very happy to support regular walks, energetic breeds, and dogs who need a bit more exercise. I’m also available for daytime house visits and check-ins. I usually work from home, which means I’m present and flexible throughout the day — I just need a small bench or table space to set up my laptop during longer visits.
I have a current police check and take great pride in being respectful, reliable, and trustworthy in other people’s homes. I understand the importance of privacy, security, and caring for a home as if it were my own, and I always aim to leave things just as they were left — if not better.
While I’m new to Pawshake and don’t yet have reviews on this platform, I’ve completed many short- and long-term house and pet sits through other platforms, as well as direct referrals. I’m very happy to provide strong references upon request.
I’m well suited to short-term and weekend sits, dog walking, and daytime house visits, and I’m always happy to chat and meet beforehand to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone.
Looking forward to meeting you and your pets!— Gab

Hi! I’m a bubbly, active, and passionate animal lover with lifelong experience caring for pets. Growing up with three Rottweilers, a Siberian Husky, a Shih Tzu, and a cat, I’m confident handling both large, energetic breeds and smaller companion animals.
I love being a pet sitter because animals bring so much joy, and I enjoy giving them attention, exercise, and companionship while keeping them safe and happy. I offer dog walking, pet sitting, pet feeding/drop in visits, day care, and overnight stays. I adapt my approach to each pet, giving shy or nervous dogs time to feel comfortable, while energetic pets get structured play and exercise.
Safety is always my priority. On walks, I use secure leads, follow local leash laws, and supervise interactions with other animals. At home, I maintain a clean, secure environment and follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions carefully. For the health of all pets, I only accept vaccinated animals in my care.
I treat every pet as if they were my own and look forward to providing loving, attentive care for your furry family members!

I'm patient and gentle with pets and I am able to look after your pets as if they were my own while you are away. I will give care to each pet that is best suited to their individual needs. I am firm yet gentle with animals, using play and always positive reinforcement training to make sure they always feel safe.I love taking dogs on walks and making sure they get to go out and get their daily exercise. I have had plenty of experience with long haired dogs therefore I can provide basic grooming.I have worked at kennels previously, therefore I am very confident with taking care of your furbabies. I am more than happy to give any required medication to your pets. For house visits, I'm happy to take in mail, put out the bins and water plants for no extra charge.IMPORTANT: Multiple visits in a day for Daycare will have an extra charge of $10 per extra visit. My location is Patterson Lakes and I am willing to travel within a 15km radius from Patterson Lakes. All new customers need to go a meet and greet. Please give me your full address on the morning of the day before 8am and allow for at least 20 minutes for time so that your pet and I can get to know each other. I can also do key pick up and drop off before and after the pet sitting.I am excited to meet your fur babies!

Hi, my name is Ellen. I am 23 years old and am currently working part time at a local cafe! I have been a huge animal lover my whole life, having had 4 dogs, which have been my absolute best friends. I have mainly been around and cared for boxers so I am very comfortable with big dogs who have lots of energy and even the ones with behavioural issues! I eventually want a career in animal care or vet nursing. Although I don't currently have any professional experience in dog sitting I have always been around dogs, big and small, I have looked after many family member and friends dogs while they're away. I would love to gain some professional experience by doing something I love, while being able to help any families who need it. I am keen on pet sitting, overnight and day visits and also dog walking!!

Hi there!
I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have years of experience looking after pets for neighbors, friends, and family. Recently, I spent a year traveling across the United States and Canada, petsitting/housesitting along the way, gaining even more experience with pets of all breeds, ages, and personalities. I am new to Pawshake, but I have petsitting/housesitting references from other experiences that I’m happy to provide.
I am a mature professional who works part-time online and is writing a PhD, so my timetable is flexible and I am happy to work in with you. I love spending time with animals and treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. I’m experienced in handling pets of all sizes and temperaments, and animals quickly take to me because of the love and attention I give them.
My property management and architecture background ensures that I am responsible and respectful when taking care of your home. Regular tasks such as collecting mail, cleaning, watering plants, and remembering trash days go without saying. I am also able to provide peace of mind should there be a weather incident, in that I can prepare the property and keep you informed of any issues with regular communication. Let me know your needs and routines! I am happy to work in with you.
