Hello. I specialise in taking care of cats. I am experienced with rabbits and fish too. I am alsoable to look after dogs that don’t need a whole lot of discipline.I prefer bookings that last no more than 5 days for home visits. And no longer than two night for home stays. Thank you.&nbsp;
Cats 
Pet cats have played a very important role throughout my life and this is where I get most of my experience with cats. I recently said goodbye to my dear 18.5 year old boy who had a lot of special needs in the end. I have worked at a veterinary hospital for 2 years too and volunteered at a fox rescue. Currently I have two cats.&nbsp;Through thise xperience I am well versed in:&nbsp;
- Issuing of oral, dermal and injectable medicines including for arthritis, pain and anxiety. Also issuing transdermal fluid of up to 100 mL at a time for hydration of cats with kids disease,
- Importance of specific feeding requirements including prescription foods, BARF/raw foodsand operation of SureFeeders,&nbsp;
- Play/enrichment, especially with a string teaser,&nbsp;
- Socialising with a cat how they like..some cats like a scratch on the face, some on body, some like to be left alone and some like to play…I am good at reading cat body language and catering to your cats specific social needs,&nbsp;
- Handling a cat with arthritis,
- Importance of keeping some pets separated from others through closing doors and isolating certain parts of the house,&nbsp;
- Getting a cat into a carry case when needed, even if they are being aggressive,&nbsp;
- How to clip a cat’s claws if needed (although I prefer not to).&nbsp;
Rabbits 
Although I do not have rabbits anymore, I had rabbits for over 10 years, one, Ted Bunny, who endedup having special needs. I know:&nbsp;
- How to administer oral and injectable medications to a rabbit,&nbsp;
- The importance of a rabbits dietary needs especially in relation to tooth health,&nbsp;
- How to hold and carry a rabbit,
- How to clip a rabbits claws,&nbsp;
- Where a rabbit likes to be scratched on the nose, and&nbsp;
- How to read rabbit behaviour (is your rabbit happy, angry, scared or curious etc).&nbsp;
Fish
At one point I had twelve fish tanks but I have managed to cut it down to one and a pond. I can perform:
- Feeding,
- Water changes including water testing (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, TDS), operation of reverse osmosis kits and adding extra salts/minerals/chemicals as needed,
- Medicating fish.
Dogs 
Not going to lie. I don’t have much experience with dogs, but I am capable of lookingafter a dog with:&nbsp;
- Following feeding instructions,&nbsp;
- Cleaning up after your dog,&nbsp;
- Walking your dog, and&nbsp;
- Giving some TLC.&nbsp;
That’s just about everything I can think of to say! I am looking to do home visits in Ringwood only to take care of your pets needs. Here is a bit of a service description:
- Each cat or rabbit home visit will include 30 minutes feeding, cleaning, patting, playing with and medicating (if necissary) your cat/s. Talk to me about if you'd like me to spend longer than 30 minutes with your pet/s.
- Each dog home visit will include the above PLUS an approximately 30 minute walk. Talk to me about if you'd like me to spend longer than 1 hour with your dog.

I offer home visits, dog walks and home-sits.
I’m an animal lover, I grew up with 3 dogs, but am not settled down enough to have my own yet. So I love being a pet aunt and have been pet sitting for around 5 years. I’m experienced with older and sick pets, and have done vet visits and medication, as well as young boisterous pups who need more walks and stimulation. I love a pet snuggle! But equally if yours is a little more independent or timid, I’ll respect the warming up process :)
To me, a home is a haven, so I’m super clean and tidy, and will treat your home with the utmost respect!
HOME VISITS AND DOG WALKING:
My availability is generally early morning and nights after work. I can feed your pet, walk dogs (half an hour to 45 mins usually), get the mail in, water plants and any other tasks that might be required. I am experienced in administering medication, with the exception of delivering injections.
I will generally stay an hour depending on what you require. I'll only accept drop in's for the suburb I'm in.
Dog walks are anywhere from 25-45 minutes depending on the needs or limitations of the dog. I'll always act as advised, so if you have a park you would normally take them to or if they like a particular circuit, that's where I'll go. I'm very cautious of off-lead areas until I'm very familiar with your dog, and they're familiar with me. 
HOME SITTING:
I prioritize longer pet sits, as it allows us to be in more of a routine, but am happy to consider shorter sits, especially with repeat clients (and I always love caring for pet friends again - nothing makes me happier than when your dog races to see me or cat comes over for head scratches when they recognise me!)
I'm unable to take live-in sits that are further than 30 mins from the city, and generally only service the eastern, north east and south east suburbs. Any further out and my travel gets too crazy.
I work from home part time in admin, and take casual retail and promo shifts, so while there may be days I'm away 8-9 hours, it's usual that it's only 4-5 hours at a time. I keep a routine of being able to walk dogs in the morning and at night. And feed on a morning/night schedule also. On long term sits, I'll make sure to wash dogs as required. I am experienced in administering medication, with the exception of delivering injections.
I'll of course keep the house immaculate, and water plants, collect mail and tend to all the household things that come up.
I don't invite friends around, if possible I'll park in the driveway for the visual cue that people are home, and I have a strong system for locking up as I leave. Your house security is of utmost importance!
I’m part of a network of Melbourne pet sitters, so if anything comes up that I’m unsure about, there is always support from others with experience. I’ll send you lots of pics while you’re away, as I know you’ll be missing your fur children, and send lots of updates!

Hello Everyone! My name is Alex and I love animals! I grew up with a dog named Harry and hemrit crabs hahah! Our family now has a pet named Teddy :) He is a Bichon Frise and gets along with both dogs and people. We want Teddy to have a play friend and also have more cutness in our home. Speaking of our home it is fenced and quite large both inside and outside. Teddy mostly is an inside dog but Teddy and guest pets can also do a walk around outside. We have experience in taking after pets from friends pets and other pets outside of Pawshake. My parents often take Teddy to the beach on Sundays and if you are open to it we can also take another doggy with Teddy and provide pictures. In terms of what I expect from pets
Dogs only: At this stage dogs only as Teddy despite showing no signs of agression has still not interacted with other animals besides dogs and don't see the point in taking the risk.
Size: Small dogs only at this stage.&nbsp;
Temperment: Friendly dogs only. We are fine with the dogs being slow, old and quiet or young and more energetic but the pet needs to be friendly. May request to meet up beforehand. More than happy to drive to an area to see how a potential new member of the family behaves.&nbsp;
Quantity: At this stage just one pet at a time. What you can expect from myself and the family: Teddy and a member of the family at home: If I am not at home Monday to Friday my mum will be. Very rarely there is just Teddy. On the Weekends there is always someone at home and I will make sure that any pet is very loved :)Lots of hugs and kisses :)
Walks: Mum usually does the walking and I usually do the running. Dependisng on the health, age and temperment of the pet we can do either.Food: We expect bed and food to be provided however we often cook Teddy fresh chicken. If this is something you want as well in addition to the food provided to us let us know.&nbsp;
Safe: As mentioned above we have a fenced house&nbsp;
Toys: We have dog toys but open to having new toys provided to us to make any pet feel more welcome.
Sleep: Pet will be sleeping in my bed or in a dog bed. Whatever the pet prefers.&nbsp;


Hi, I’m Joseph, a recent graduate from the University of Melbourne. I’m currently available for about a month and would love to help with pet sitting if you need someone reliable and caring.

I have quite a bit of experience with dogs both in Australia and China. In Melbourne, I’ve looked after several dogs for friends, including the two I’m currently caring for — a Japanese Spitz and a Dachshund. Back in China, I raised a Maltese, so I’m very familiar with daily care, feeding, grooming, and understanding different dog personalities and needs.

Your dog can stay at my place. I live in a spacious house with a backyard, so there’s plenty of room for them to move around and relax. My friend and I both have experience with dogs, and there will always be someone around to keep them company, so they won’t feel lonely.

I always try to keep dogs on their usual routine to help them feel comfortable — regular feeding, daily walks, playtime, and lots of attention. We also have a car, so we can take them to parks for exercise. I take safety seriously, and if anything unusual happens, I’ll contact you and a vet straight away. I only accept vaccinated pets to make sure everything stays safe.

I grew up in what can only be described as a mini zoo, where animals were part of everyday life rather than just pets. From birds and chickens to mice, rabbits, bees, fish, dogs, cats, and even goats, there was always an animal nearby. If it existed, I probably shared a snack with it, helped care for it, or gave it a comfortable place to rest. Growing up surrounded by so many different animals taught me patience, awareness, and how to understand each animal’s unique personality and needs.
Because of this upbringing, caring for animals feels completely natural to me. I know that every pet has their own routine, preferences, and comfort levels, and I take pride in making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely cared for while you are away. We’ve just returned home to the UK after travelling and are excited to continue our journey as dedicated pet sitters. We’re caring, compassionate, trustworthy, and experienced; we’ll treat your pets with the same love, respect, and affection as if they were our own (they’re royalty, after all ).

We both hold full UK driving licences and have a spacious car should transport ever be required. We’re confident in administering all types of medication and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for animals with different needs.

I (James) have loved animals from a young age, I even managed to persuade my parents to let me get a dog, and that’s where it all began! Since then, I’ve worked with several dog walking and pet sitting companies in England, as well as running my own small business alongside my full-time job.
