In more detail...
We’re an Australian-New Zealand couple in our 30s, and have recently relocated from London to Queensland after living in the UK for over 6 years. Dan works in the finance industry as a project manager, and Jess works in the not-for-profit sector for a healthcare charity. We both work from home, meaning your pets will have plenty of company and care if they are staying with us.
We both adore animals and have extensive experience caring for them. From childhood pets to regular pet-sitting for friends and pet/house sitting full time for the last 2 years, we’re no strangers to furry companions. Jess’s three years working at the RSPCA in Australia gave her invaluable experience working with animals of all kinds, including volunteering as a dog walker and as a cat foster carer. Jess has also worked as a paid pet sitter and dog walker back in Australia.
We live an active lifestyle and love incorporating pets into our daily routines - whether it’s a walk, a run, or throwing the ball in the backyard. We are very excited to now be offering dog walking in our local area.

Our home is run by our very prestigous black lab Peppa-Pig (aka Piggy) and the no nonsense Burmese pussy-cat Mowgli. They are alsways busy keeping our naughty little duo Timone (another Burmese) and our so wild but so loveable Pumba (a chocolate lab that thinks she is a cat!). Overseeing the whole zoo we have Yurtle the turtle! I would love to take care of your apets when you are the away in the same way that I would want someone to take care of mine. I am very patient and easy going and will ensure that your pets are always happy and feel loved. I am very attentive and will always contact you if there is anything not quite right. I am also happy to attend to other household tasks such as taking bins out, collecting mail, watering plants, turning lights, TV etc on/off for the appearance that someone is at home, to ensure you have nothing to worry about at home whilst holidaying. Hello! My name is Ashleigh. I am a 30 year old female who works full time as a registered nurse. I am a passionate animal lover, living in a small rental which houses my two beloved elderly Guinea pigs and two leafy stick insects. I have always had animals in my life, whether that be in my home or at my friends' places, farms and properties. I was raised partially on a farm with many animals and wildlife around, which required a great deal of TLC! In terms of pet sitting, I have pet sit many times for my friends and family (cats and dogs mainly), but have looked after birds in the past too. Working in the healthcare field can be emotionally exhausting and I take great joy in being outdoors and amongst our beautiful wildlife. Animals are a great gift to us, and will be treated as such! 

Haha, in all seriousness I have an incredible connection when it comes interacting with dogs, cats and anything inbetween. I've grown up with many dogs in the past from rottweilers to golden retrievers and corgis to malamutes, no dog is excluded in my eyes and everyone deserves love and attention.
I find this opportunity to be both a learning experience as well as a sense of joy. I may not have previous experience with "Pawshake" however, I've had many experiences with animals regardless and everyone needs to start somewhere in becoming a sitter right?&nbsp;
