"We had Gizem stay at our place for 2 nights to look after our 3 cats, one of which has medication each night. Gizem took such good care of them! She sent me photos throughout the day and gave me updates on how they were going. It was our first time leaving them overnight with someone new and I was very anxious but Gizem eased my anxiety and looked after them like her own. Will definitely book Gizem again!"

"I cannot recommend Antonia highly enough! She’s amazing. Mature, thoughtful, and dedicated, she is the perfect person to take care of your pets and home. Our 9year old lab x was so well taken care of, and the plants were in better shape than when we left!!! She handled some difficult roadworks outside our house with grace, left us a clean home, with a happy dog and even home made lentil soup on our return!
Will definitely be hoping Antonia is available for any further travel. I almost considered not leaving such a glowing review to make sure she isn’t booked out!!!! 🤣

"Valentina and Esteban are highly reliable and trustworthy. They are clearly passionate about dogs and looked after our mini schnauzers, Chester and Monty, with much love, care and fun. "Vy was an absolute lifesaver—she accepted our booking with less than 12 hours’ notice after our original sitter, Madeleine, let us down. Madeleine overfed the pets, kept the dog locked in, arrived late, and abandoned them the second night after I asked her to let the dog out (locked for over 20 hours). Motion sensors and cameras (she was informed in writing) confirmed she lied about doing it, then canceled and left our pets alone for 24 hours! It was the most distressing time! Stuck in Fiji with limited internet connection and no family support in Melbourne, I honestly hope no one has to go through this!!
Pawshake immediately cancelled Madeleine Oruba.
Thankfully, I found Vy through old messages, and she stepped in instantly! She cared for our senior pets, gave them medication, kept us updated with photos, and flagged issues like peeing on rugs, vomiting and food shortages. The previous sitter had used 8+ tins of cat food in just two days!
Vy is reliable, honest, and an excellent communicator. We’re incredibly grateful she was there when we needed her most. Thank you Vy! "

"Gabby was easy to communicate with and very friendly from start to finish. We were very comfortable leaving her in charge of our house and 6yo Greyhound for 17 nights when we went on holidays. Gabby sent regular messages and photos which showed that our dog was in good hands and comfortable with his dog sitter. When we arrived home both house and dog were in perfect condition. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gabby's services to my friends and family. "

"Jazmin was amazing from the first contact. Jazmin was upfront and answered any of my questions especially as this was the first time that I have ever had someone that is outside of my family look after my fur babies. Jazmin's communication was always professional and courtous. When Jazmin came over for the meet and great I could tell that they loved her from the get go as Luna (my cat) doesn't normally warm to people quickly but she did with Jazmin and she would just hang around her and Storm (my dog) would not leave her alone. Jazmin kept me updated with messages and photos throughout the time she stayed at my home and she kept my home clean and tidy and I could not fault her at all. Thank you Jazmin for looking after Storm and Luna, they miss you already which must mean I may need to go away again soon ;). Will not trust anyone but you to look after them in the future."

"Rainny looked after our cat and house over the NY break.
She gave us regular daily updates and sent pictures. When we returned, the cat was relaxed and well groomed, and the house was spotless. Very responsible, quiet and respectful house guest, and did a great job with our cat."

"Bethany has provided a great service looking after our two large dogs at home for the week. We left lots of notes to follow and all were managed with no fuss. "Matt looked after our two cats and house for nearly three weeks and they absolutely loved him! We got immediate good vibes when we had our meet and greet. He's house and security conscious, and provided us with updates/photos during our trip - this really put our minds at ease so we could enjoy the holiday without worrying about what was happening at home. Our older boy Ghost is a sensitive soul who took a while to warm up and this didn't bother Matt at all. Our little girl Aurora was all over him from the start of his stay! The house was clean and tidy when we arrived home and the cats were beyond happy and well cared for. I think they miss him - particularly Aurora! "Diane housesat for us over Christmas and took excellent care of our two cats and dog. We got regular updates of the shenanigans happening at home which made us feel at ease. Diane gave us confidence by sticking to our animals routines and went above and beyond by ensuring our energetic and sociable dog did the rounds of the local dog parks which was much appreciated.
We arrived home to a tidy home and we're appreciative of the respect and care that was shown for our home and our animals.
