Top cities for house sitting in Australia

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Loganholme QLD home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Loganholme QLD.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Loganholme QLD home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I am an experienced pet carer, ready to become best friends with your pet.Whether your pet has scales, feathers or fur, I can provide you with peace of mind that your pet is in great hands. I have over 20 years of experience working with domestic animals and wildlife, plus the privileged experience of having pets of my own ️. I have previously worked as a doggy daycare attendant, a dog walker, pet sitter and wildlife officer. I am a friendly and calm presence around your pet, and I am understanding of the anxiety that both you and your pet can experience in your absence. It would be my pleasure to put you both at ease. I am responsible, reliable, respectful and practical. I am also rediculously fond of animals... and meeting new people! I respect that every pet and every home is different, and I am able to adapt my care to suit your needs. I have some capacity to take pets into my own home, however due to having young children, my preference is to care for your pets at your home. I have an adopted greyhound at home who is VERY friendly and calm, and who is available for companionship, if your pet requires it. Contact me to discuss if I am the right fit for you and your pet. I can't wait to meet you

Hello everyone!

My name is Manon, I am 30 years old and originally from France. I'm excited to be starting on this app and would be delighted if you'd entrust me with your beloved pet!

I grew up surrounded by pets, including cats, fish, rabbits, but most importantly, my loyal and unforgettable life companions: dogs. My family and I have always been deeply passionate about the Boxer breed. My experience extends beyond common household pets; I practiced horse riding for over 15 years and cared for very young horses. I even regularly looked after my father's two mules when he was away!

I am based in Loganholme. Unfortunately, my landlord does not allow pets, so I specialize in pet minding and care at your home (house sitting). If you are looking for a reliable person to look after your animal in their familiar environment, take them for walks, or simply feed them, I'm available after work hours (7.30am to 3.30pm) and the weekends

I also own a 4x4 vehicle, so if your pet has a favourite spot to stretch their legs, we can drive there with pleasure! (I often take my friends' dog, Kalisy, to the beach for a run).

On the French island of Reunion (near Madagascar), where unfortunately many dogs are stray, I fell in love with a stray puppy. With limited income, I contacted an association for help with vet fees. In exchange, I agreed to transport 18 dogs (19 with my own) who had found a family in France. It was an incredible experience to care for my rescue puppy and assist the association by taking all those dogs on the flight!

When you choose me, your animal will be pampered and well-treated. I truly love all animals, regardless of their size, breed, or whether they have a disability, mosquitoes are my only true enemies!

Hope to see you soon ! Manon

Hi, I am a mature sixty two-year-old Christian lady with an adult 20 year old son - both professional sitters.
We've previously pet/housesat over 80 homes & in 20 counties around the world. More recently in Australia in SA and Queensland with several repeat sits for pet owners who asked for our services again.
Both of us are fastidious, clean and neat.
Currently in Redland Bay, South Brisbane & North Gold Coast area, so we offer longer house/pet-sitting for your pets locally in your home.
We are non-smokers and do not use drugs, and both fit and health conscious.
We are completely trustworthy and can supply 5-star pet-sitting references and have a Police clearance certificate.
We have a small non-shedding 5kg Cavoodle who now pet-sits with us and is a great playmate for your dogs.
We've previously cared and owned a myriad of animals from turtles, budgies, cats, alpacas, goats, sheep, turkeys, chickens, and our favourite four-legged friends - dogs!
We offer to care for neat and clean homes and leave them the same. We do not care for overly cluttered/messy or dirty homes. We’re trustworthy & you get regular updates with photos if you want them, so there’s peace of mind while I you relax elsewhere.
We are highly experienced and can handle all situations with experience and care.
I hold a Certificate of Horticulture so your plants are safe with me,
Please consider us, thank you.

**What we bring to the assignment / relevant experience**
We have had extensive house-sitting roles in the past.
We bring many good references and supply those on request.
We are Christian - so you can trust us too.
We are respectful of property, and neat and clean.
We both have police clearance certificates (my son works with the public).
I hold a certificate in horticulture so plants are well-cared for with me.
We have a wide range of animal experience.

We look forward to caring for your home and/or pets,
Ruth and Louis

Hi! We are a couple who genuinely love animals. Back in our home country, we’ve taken care of both dogs and cats, and we also volunteered at a local animal shelter.

We’re clean, responsible, and always make sure pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. We’re comfortable following pet routines and adapting to different temperaments. We can help with feeding, walking, and even bathing if needed.

We enjoy spending time with pets and treat them like family. While we don’t offer pet boarding at our home, we’re happy to visit and take care of your pets in their familiar environment.

We’re also reliable with updates and can send photos or notes if you’d like to know how your pets are doing. Your pets’ well-being is our top priority. We understand how important they are to you and promise to treat them with love and respect.

We look forward to meeting your furry friends!
