Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Hope Island QLD home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Hope Island QLD.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Hope Island QLD home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hello everyone! My name is Daniela and I am from Chile. I am a dog carer. I have dedicated myself to studying different dog breeds and trying to understand the behaviour of animals. It is my hobby and it is also my passion. It has been my passion since I was very young. I just love dogs.
I guess my fascination with dogs began because my dad is a dog trainer and also a pet caretaker. Thanks to him, I was born with the gene of love and care for animals. For as long as I can remember dogs of all breeds have stayed in my house and we have always taken great care of them, and pampered them, as if they were our own.
When I was in Chile, I devoted a lot of time to preparing to be a canine judge. The motivation to care for, groom, and just be with dogs and/or pets is to learn more about them. Every day, I try to be with them and I try to understand them.
I have a lot of experience caring for dogs, walking them, bathing them, grooming them and making sure they are healthy and happy. I am able to do this at another person's home, or bring them to my own house and make sure that they are healthy and happy and up-to-date with vaccinations.

My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my lifelong love for animals. I find joy in providing a safe and caring environment for pets when their owners are away. Being around animals makes me feel fulfilled, and I believe pets deserve attention, affection, and the best care possible, especially when their owners can’t be there. Pet sitting allows me to offer companionship to pets, ensuring they don’t feel lonely, while also giving pet owners the reassurance that their beloved animals are well taken care of. This role offers me the opportunity to combine my passion for animals with providing a valuable service.
I have previous experience taking care of various pets, including dogs, cats, and small animals. Over the years, I’ve helped family and friends by pet-sitting, ensuring their pets were safe, happy, and well cared for. I am familiar with basic pet care tasks such as feeding, walking, playing, administering medications when needed, and providing lots of attention. Additionally, I’m comfortable following specific care instructions and routines tailored to each pet’s individual needs. My experience has taught me how to be patient and observant, ensuring I recognize and respond to any signs of discomfort or distress in pets under my care.
Yes, for the well-being and safety of all the pets I look after, I do require that they are up to date on their vaccinations. This is important to prevent the spread of diseases and to create a healthier, safer environment for all animals in my care. Vaccinations are a crucial part of responsible pet care, and I believe that ensuring all pets are vaccinated is one of the best ways to protect them and maintain a safe atmosphere. This also gives pet owners peace of mind knowing that their pets are interacting in a safe, well-maintained space.

I’m a super chill, loving, and reliable person, and I’m totally obsessed with animals! Back in Spain, I have a Sphynx cat who’s basically my kid, so I really get how much your pets mean to you and all the love they need. Honestly, I just love hanging out with them—whether we’re going for a fun walk, playing games, or just cuddling so they never feel lonely.
I’ve always had this special connection with animals; they bring me so much peace and pure joy. It makes me so happy to care for them and see their tails wagging (or their little Sphynx face looking content!). I always make sure they feel totally safe, comfy, and spoiled with love.
Also, I'm pretty organized and eagle-eyed about the details. This means I can easily follow any specific routine your furry friend has—from walks exactly on time to super-specific meal or medication instructions. My number one goal is simple: to make sure you feel totally relaxed and confident, and that your pet is having the best time while they’re with me!

I'm in surfers Paradise. I've been looking after Dogs, cats, fish, Rabbits,Hamsters,Mice, 10years. I love playing with them, cuddling them, walking and run with them to see them happy...I'm a perfectionist so I make sure they always eat their dinner properly and got plenty of clean water in a clean dish. I have plenty of excellent experiences with people who became regulars after I dogsit at their place or mine. Animals can feel when you truly love them. I'll take photos so you can see your babies while you're away. I'm happy to look after plants & mail for you too. dogs with special needs aren't a problem for me if needed diet iron medication I'm very compassionate & have experience as a dental nurse for 10yrs so your beloved pets are in good hands
I have looked after big and small dogs,I like to care for them as I would with my own pets. I do have dogs myself

You can call me Berni! ;)
I have years of experience with pets (mostly dogs and cats). All my friends and family entrust me with their babies when they go out of town or can't take care of them. I like to go for walks and make them play, or just pet them and be together watching a movie.
Unfortunately last year I lost my dog Lupe and my cat Nahuel, but thanks to that I was able to learn about taking care of sick or old animals. I can give them their medications and be attentive to their mood changes to let you know everithing. I like to update the owners with pictures and I´m always with my phone for any emergency.
I am available every day of the week for now, at any time. I can sleep at your home if you need but I will require a private space and food. I am super responsible and clean, and dont like to leave pets alone at any moment. I am willing to work full time as a pet sitter so I will always find a way to be available for you.
I take not vaccinated pets and I accept only one pet at a time (more if its the same owner).
bonus: I love photography as well so I will probably take pictures of your pet with my camera, and then give them yo you for free!

Hi! I'm a Brazilian living on Gold Coast (Chevron Island) for a exchange program.
In my country I used to live with 3 dogs in my mom's house (their names are Donatela, Dominique e Domênico). I also have a Beagle (she name is Panqueca, like ) with my fiance and they live in a countryside.
I was always going to my fiance's house, because he and my brother-in-law have 9 dogs! I love just staying there petting them, talking to them and loving them ️
I love pets, especially dogs. And here, on Gold Coast, I walking in the streets greeting all the dogs that cross my path haha and if I have a opportunity and the owner's permission (of course) I don't lose the chance to petting them hahaha
About my services:

Dog walks: I offer one or two walks per day lasting approximately 30 minutes each.
Home visits: I offer one or two visits per day, 30/45 minutes each, to organize the pet's food/water/cleaning, to play, to brush or just stay there petting and loving he/she. During my visit, I can water your plants and bring in the mail as well.
House sitting: I offer an overnight with your pet in your home. We can discuss the details before booking.

Other informations:

Availability: Monday to Thursday in the morning and at night (I work from 4pm to 10pm Mon to Thu) | Friday and Weekends: all day.
I don't administer medicine, sorry.

So if you need help, it will be a pleasure to take care of your pet, to walk with them, to feed them and even to stay with if it's necessary.
I'm excited to meet you and your pet ️

We are Vanessa and Ignacio, a 27 year old couple from Spain and Argentina.

We are two great animal lovers, friendly, quiet and non-smoking people. We love to travel, explore, discover new places in the world and live adventures. We have been traveling together for more than 2 years and we already have experience as pet sitters in different places around the world.

Travel is great, but after so many moves out of our country, we both miss animal companionship, so we decided it would be a good opportunity to offer our services again to those owners who need their babies to be well cared for while they are away from home. Because we understand that taking care of them is the most important thing.

We understand that it is not easy to trust someone to take care of your home and your precious pets, and we are very grateful for that trust. We pledge to treat your home and pets with the utmost care and respect at all times, as if they were our pets!

We strongly believe in maintaining your pets' regular schedule, so that they feel safe and loved while you are away. Maintaining an environment of love and tranquility, and of course time to play too. The health and happiness of your furry babies is always our top priority - with us, your pets will be well cared for and pampered!

We believe in honesty and integrity and pride ourselves on our organizational and logistical skills. We are responsible and reliable, tidy and we keep our word.

In addition, if needed, we can also send updates and photos via email / WhatsApp or messaging as often as you like while you are away. This way you can be sure your pet is happy and has what they need at all times.

As we are generally non-residents of Australia, we do not travel with our own vehicle, so we would very much appreciate the use of a car if possible (if only for emergencies or to visit local grocery stores. However, it is not a necessity).

Our goal is to make your travels carefree and returning home a pleasure.

Thank you for your time in reading us, we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best wishes,

Vanessa & Ignacio.

A little about me
Hi! I'm Paula
I’ve always loved animals and have shared my life with them for as long as I can remember. I naturally connect with them and really enjoy getting to know their little personalities.
I’d love to take your dog for walks, play with them at the park, give them lots of cuddles, or simply keep them company at home. I’m also happy to care for cats and rabbits and follow their usual routines.
If your pet is more comfortable staying at home, I can also stay at your place while you’re away, making sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved.
I'm a girl with good physical performance, organised with routines and schedules. For me pet sitting is more than just a job.
I’ll treat your pets with patience, affection and care as if they were my own. ️
I’d love to meet you and your furry friend!
