Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Heatherbrae NSW home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Heatherbrae NSW.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Heatherbrae NSW home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi, I’m Mollie, a passionate dog lover and proud owner of a 15-month-old Labrador named Larrie I work from home, which means I’m fully flexible and available to give your dog plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I’m reliable, patient, and dedicated to making sure every pup feels safe and loved while in my care. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog, so I make sure every walk, visit, or stay is safe, fun, and tailored to their needs. Whether it’s social playtime, a relaxed stroll, or a beach adventure, I’ll treat your dog like one my own—making sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well looked after while you’re away. I’m happy to follow any routines or special instructions, whether your dog needs extra exercise, medication, or just a bit of extra love and reassurance. I’m also confident with energetic dogs and enjoy getting them out for walks, playtime, and fresh air. Regular updates and photos can be provided so you can feel at ease knowing your dog is in good hands.

Hello,

I am a 26 y/0 woman from England very much so missing her pets! I would love to take care of those and give back. I am very sporty and love being outdoors so if your pets are keen for little trips to the beach to splash in the ocean or the woods for a good sniff I'm your girl!
I have two family dogs at home in England, a chihuahua named peanut and our oldest dog George, a fabulous jack russel who is the ripe old age of 17 and currently travelling Europe with my sister! I trained both dogs from puppies and have a keen knack for it. My dogs are trained so that they do not need a leash to be walked.
I love all animals and looking after my siblings pets and my friends has always been in my best interests to spend quality time with all walks of furry friends!
I first came to Australia to be a live in au pair, I love helping others and am grateful for every opportunity I have been given!
Informing you when I have arrived at the property to great your pets is a must and when I leave to that you can be assured that they have been taken care of! Happy to provide photographs if needed
I understand that every pet is different and aim to treat each pet accordingly with their personality! Any dietary or health needs to be discussed prior to ensure the best quality care.
I hope you pick me, your pets would be in the bestest care.

Hi, I’m Tayia ! I’ve been around animals my whole life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. From growing up with dogs and cats to now being the proud owner of a beautiful Staffy x Boxer ( Missy), animals have always been part of my family and daily life. My dog has taught me so much about understanding different temperaments, providing consistency, and balancing playtime with calm, loving care.

As a pet sitter, I treat every pet as if they were my own — with patience, kindness, and lots of attention. I know that every animal has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to get to know what makes each pet happiest and most comfortable. Whether your furry friend loves energetic walks, games, or just quiet cuddles, I’ll make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away.

I also understand how important it is to stay connected, so I’ll keep you updated with messages, photos, and little stories about your pet’s day. You can count on me to be reliable, caring, and genuinely passionate about giving your pets the best care possible.

Hi, I'm Afshin, an animal lover with a professional background in Animal Science and a genuine passion for animal care and welfare. I have many years of experience working with and caring for different animals, which has given me a strong understanding of animal behaviour, wellbeing, and individual needs. In addition to my academic background, I have completed animal Care Levels 1 and 2, covering animal ethics, welfare standards, and proper animal handling (including different pet animals). I have also attended several animal welfare workshops to further develop my knowledge of responsible and compassionate pet care.
I offer pet sitting in your home, house sitting, home visits, and dog walking services. Whether your pet needs feeding, exercise, medication administration, playtime, or simply companionship while you're away, I will provide attentive and personalised care based on their usual routine. I understand that every pet is different, and I take the time to build trust and ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in their familiar environment.
I am reliable, responsible, and communicative, and I understand how important it is for owners to have peace of mind while they are away. During bookings, I provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can stay connected with your pet and know they are being well cared for.
I am comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and other small pets, and I am happy to follow detailed instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medications, and any special needs. My goal is to provide a safe, caring, and stress-free experience for both pets and their owners.
I look forward to meeting you and your lovely family members!

Hello :) I'm Louisa, in my early 30s, and originally from Germany. After completing my Master's degree (Global Health) in Sweden, I moved to Australia with my partner about a year ago and have been able to gather ample of pet sitting experience.
I primarily offer pet care in the home of pet owners and therefore enjoy walking dogs in their familiar surroundings. This maintains routines, so the dogs feel safe and can enjoy their familiar paths and favourite places.
I lived with my own dog for over 13 years. She was a rescue and a beloved family member to me. Through her, I learned not only about the daily care but also the responsibility and patience required to provide an animal with a happy life.
During my travels, I was also able to gain valuable practical experience: In Romania, I worked at an animal shelter and a clinic for dogs and cats, in Spain, I helped at a dog rescue center, and in Malaysia, I supported a cat rescue. My duties there included administering medication, bottle feeding, and providing intensive care for sick and young animals.
In addition, I took on numerous pet-sitting assignments last year, including around 20 multi-day assignments in Australia – many of them for recurring clients.
I am excited to expand this network through Pawshake :)

Hi there! I'm Steph - a friendly, reliable, professional, and animal-loving human living in Maitland with my partner, two dogs (a 5yo Frenchie and 7yo Terrier X), and a bunny I have been caring for pets my whole life, and adore all animals - big and small. I've struggled to find reliable housesitters myself, and understand how anxiety inducing it can be to leave your pets in the care of someone else. I aim to provide the same level of care and love for your pets that I would expect for my own I have a medically complex Frenchie so am experienced and confident in administering medication, injections, and applying creams etc. I work from home full-time as a researcher and therapist, so am available to provide walks and house visits as needed, or housesit at your place. I have a fully-fenced back deck and plenty of indoor space, as well as leafy surrounding suburbs to walk around. For the safety of your pets and mine, I only accept bookings for fully vaccinated pets. I'm looking forward to meeting your pets and treating them like my own (read: like spoilt fur babies)!

Hi! I’m Melania, 26 years old, originally from Uruguay and currently living in Australia. I studied Medicine for three years back home and moved to Australia four years ago, where I decided to discontinue my degree. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics and working casually.

I’ve been around animals my whole life and have two dogs back home — Camilo (a Pug) and Frida (a German Shepherd). Thanks to my medical background, I’m comfortable administering medications, including injections, to animals when required, following owners’ instructions.

I’ve also worked as a care worker, so I’m used to providing care with responsibility, patience, and attention to detail. I’d be more than happy to look after your loved ones and make sure they feel safe and well cared for.

Feel free to enquire anytime
Reviews are available on my profile, and references can be provided upon request.
