Top cities for house sitting in Australia

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Forestdale QLD home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Forestdale QLD.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Forestdale QLD home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Looking for someone responsible and trustworthy to walk your pet?
Hi! I'm Andi, and I pride myself on being responsible, punctual, vegetarian, and a lover of animals and nature. ️ Taking care of pets is not just my passion; it’s a true joy.

I have always cared for my friend's pets in Argentina and walked pets in Manly as well, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve.

I recently completed my studies in geology, and that connection to nature motivates me to enjoy long walks even more. I would love to take your furry friend out for a fun and caring adventure, whether it's a long or short walk, or even providing in-home care.

Safe and enjoyable walks
Long or short walk options
In-home pet care available
Personalized attention for every pet

With me, your pet will receive all the love, care, and responsibility they deserve while we explore the great outdoors together.

Contact me today, and let’s arrange a walk!

I am a motivated animal lover who loves the outdoors and has quite flexible availibility. In the last 6 years I've travelled Australia and New Zealand and now settled down in Brisbane together with my partner. During various woofing I enjoyed the company of a big variety of animals and I realised I wanted to spend more time with animals again once I settled down. I love giving cuddles and playing with animals, also up for jogging together with your dog if its used to that.
We have got a nice big old Queenslander we share with a couple of people. We do have 2 energetic and loving dogs who love cats- they've grown up with 4 of them- but are not good with other dogs. So I can host 1 or 2 cats or other small animals that I'd mainly keep in the spare room when it's busy in the house. At quiet times they can explore the house if you give permission.

Hi! We are a couple who genuinely love animals. Back in our home country, we’ve taken care of both dogs and cats, and we also volunteered at a local animal shelter.

We’re clean, responsible, and always make sure pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. We’re comfortable following pet routines and adapting to different temperaments. We can help with feeding, walking, and even bathing if needed.

We enjoy spending time with pets and treat them like family. While we don’t offer pet boarding at our home, we’re happy to visit and take care of your pets in their familiar environment.

We’re also reliable with updates and can send photos or notes if you’d like to know how your pets are doing. Your pets’ well-being is our top priority. We understand how important they are to you and promise to treat them with love and respect.

We look forward to meeting your furry friends!
