I am from an animal-loving household and as I am not in a position to get my own pet at the moment, I would be so happy to look after your furry friends. 
I am happy to walk your dog, feed your cat, or look after your pet at your place temporarily while you are at work or on a holiday.
I grew up with cats and horses and I have looked after cats and dogs in the past - from anything between an afternoon to up to three weeks consecutively. Previous pet sitting jobs included, dog walking, house sitting with cats, administering medications, plant sitting, .. Whilst I mostly have experience with dogs and cats, I am also open to other pets!
I work part time as an arts administrator so I have availability Thursday-Sunday for appointments of any length (house visits, 30 min. dog-walks around Kingston/Griffith/Barton area, full-time supervision, or home sitting) and any time of the day. I am also happy to look after your plants during your absence. 
Mondays to Wednesdays I can only do the evenings or home stays as long as your pets are fine to be alone during the day. If communicated with at least a week notice, I can arrange to work from your home on Mo/Tue/Wed to supervise your pet, but I would need to confirm every stay individually. 
Since I grew up with pets, I know how to move safely around the house (including kitchen, garden access, windows, etc.) and how to keep your pets and home hygiene in check.

Hi I'm Kayleigh, an experienced vet nurse originally from the UK. I have a degree in veterinary nursing and companion animal behaviour, teaching puppy school back in Scotland. I cannot be with my own fur babies so would love to share my time with your pets, giving them comfort and care when you are away. 
I am available for check ins, meal times, medications, walks and overnight care. 
I have experience with all shapes and sized animals, while working professionally and pet sitting for friends and family. I will be working part time in a clinic in Canberra so will have a lot of free time to look after all your pets needs! 
I currently live with two gorgeous cats Pumpkin (Calico) and Indie (Tabby) who love to get up to mischief. 
I cannot take pets to my accommodation.

I'm Phoebe and I aim to provide reliable, attentive care, long walks, and plenty of cuddles for your dogs. Coming from a home of two large dogs, I have experience handling dogs from large to small (and their varying strengths). As I miss my childhood dogs (a German shepherd and Rhodesian Ridgeback!), I am seeking jobs that provide canine company. I've taken a keen interest in dogs since I was very small and love to see unique breeds or mixes! As such, nothing brings me more joy than a well exercised, content, and well cared for pup. 
I have previous experience walking dogs (large, medium, small) as well as house visits. I am mindful of surroundings, other dogs, traffic, and weather conditions. I tailor each walk to suit your dog's energy level and temperament, while maintaining safety. 
For home visits or sleepovers, my aim is to maintain your dog's normal routine as much as possible. I'll follow any feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any specific behavioral or household guidelines you provide. I'm happy to give your dog as much play time, training, or cuddles as your dog needs (outside of walks!)

About Me
I've grown up surrounded by animals and currently have four cats of my own. My oldest cat is 12 years old and my youngest is just 10 months old, which has given me experience caring for pets at very different stages of life. From energetic kittens who need lots of playtime and attention to senior cats who require patience, routine, and gentle care, I've learned how important it is to adapt to each pet's individual needs.
Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I genuinely love caring for them. As a pet owner myself, I understand that pets are family, and I know how important it is to find someone trustworthy, reliable, and compassionate to care for them while you're away.

Experience 
While I have extensive experience with cats, I also enjoy caring for dogs. I have regularly walked and looked after my aunt's and friends' dogs, helping with exercise, feeding, playtime, companionship, and maintaining their routines. Through this experience, I've learned that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I always take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy in my care.
I understand that every pet is different, whether they're energetic and playful, shy and anxious, or simply enjoy having someone nearby for company. I have a genuine passion for caring for animals and providing calm, reliable, and attentive pet care. I aim to keep pets feeling safe and comfortable by maintaining their usual routines as closely as possible, especially when they are anxious or in a new situation. I have experience caring for both dogs and farm animals, including pet sitting two dogs (one young and one older) for a week. During this time, I followed specific feeding routines, provided companionship, and ensured they were comfortable and settled throughout the day. I am also experienced with feeding multiple animals and adjusting to different dietary routines and instructions. The older dog required multiple medications throughout the day, which I delivered routinely.

Hi I'm Alexandra! I'm originally from Melbourne and am currently studying law and commerce at ANU. I have spent my entire life surrounding by animals, especially dogs, chickens and horses. I have experience looking after dogs, chickens, cats and horses of family and friends when they have been away. However, most of my experience comes from my responsibilities at home. I have grown up on acreage and care for 5 horses and a dog at home. I absolutely adore my pets and love to spoil them with treats and cuddles. I would bring the same level of care to looking after your pets as I do to my own animals - I know what it's like to be the owner stressing about your pet while you're away! 
I would love to join your dog in discovering new areas and walking routes around your home to keep them interested and happy on their dog walks. I know every dog has different energy levels and so I am always happy to discuss how long your dog wants to walk for whether this is 30 minutes or an hour. 
When pet sitting I would give them the same love and attention as I would my own pets. I'm not the kind a person who simply feeds the dogs and then ignores them. I love giving them pats and cuddles as much as they love receiving them! I have handled shy dogs and boisterous ones and I know that they often need different levels of care and attention depending on their personalities. I would love to get to know them before my first session in order to give them the best care possible. Hello My name is Justyna and I am an owner of Staffordshire Bull Terrier and let me tell you - it is so difficult to find someone to visit him or stay with him when I am away!&nbsp;So I figured there are more people like me who owns medium/large breeds and need someone to come to their house once or twice a day to feed and play with their dog when they are out and about. I also offer in your house sitting. I am happy to visit/house sit any dogs (big or small)&nbsp;- as long as they are friendly towards humans. Of your dog is selective in terms of other dogs, I can work with it too. Ive volunteered and walked multiple neighbours dogs in the past. Since 2019 I have been walking my step Mums neighbours Border Collies on a regular minimum 3 week basis, these walks usually last 5.5-6km, 2 hours. Mainly walking Border Collies and Kelpies (have walked Staffies before) over my life, with volunteering to walk other neighbours dogs. Have grown up with Border Collies and Kelpies, and also a Minature Fox Terrier. As a child we had a pet Dobberman/Rotweiller.Have been a dog lover my whole life. Im usually a bit lenient when it comes to behaviour on walks. 2 things i try my best with dogs on walks:1. Stopping (and sitting where trained) before crossing roads.&nbsp;2. Doing my upmost to not let dogs eat anything while on walks (in case of accidental bait poisoning).If there is a dog off leash area, im happy to let the dog off the lead pending recall training, and no other dogs/humans present.
