"I had Jessica stay at my home to care for my elderly cat, Marty, who has ongoing medical needs, for 10 nights while I was away. What initially drew me to her was her profile, which mentioned her experience with senior pets requiring special care—and I’m so glad I trusted my instincts, as she absolutely lived up to that impression. From the outset, Jessica showed genuine enthusiasm and care. She was eager to come and meet both Marty and me as soon as I made contact, which immediately put me at ease. She asked thoughtful questions to fully understand Marty’s routine, behaviours, and medical requirements. Jessica provided me with daily updates, with detailed notes on Marty’s habits, moods, and any changes she noticed. On top of that, she handled a fair bit of cleanup due to Marty’s condition, which I was incredibly grateful for—and I returned to a spotless home. Jessica was kind, responsible, and truly attentive throughout the entire stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter, especially for animals needing a little extra care. 10 out of 10 from me!"

"Paul was a great comfort to us when leaving our cats and dog for the first long-term holiday. He was so great our dog walker also asked him to come and stay! Communication and photo updates were great and they all looked so happy in the videos. Our pets clearly loved him and we hope he will come stay again next time they need a live-in friend."

"Yutong cared for the cats beyond my expectations. She communicated with me daily about how they were going. She also kept the apartment in a super clean condition with oictures. I arrived home with nothing to do but enjoy my home and most importantly my babies. "

"I'm are so grateful to have had Taylia take care of our two dogs, Emma and Maple, and our home while we were away! From the moment I met her, it was clear that she’s a true animal lover with a warm, caring nature. Taylia took excellent care of both Emma and Maple, ensuring they were not only well-fed and comfortable but also well-exercised and mentally engaged. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing that our pups were happy and thriving in her care. She also went above and beyond by following our specific instructions, sticking to their routines, and giving them lots of love and attention. We highly recommend Taylia to anyone looking for a responsible, loving dog sitter and house sitter. She’s truly wonderful, and we’ll definitely be booking her again in the future! Thank you, Taylia, for giving us peace of mind and for taking such wonderful care of Emma, Maple, and our home!"

"We had such a great experience with our pet sitter while we were away. She took wonderful care of Frankie and Homie and gave us peace of mind knowing they were both happy and well looked after. She was reliable, caring and easy to communicate with, and we came home to two very happy pets. We really appreciate the care and attention she gave them and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter. We would happily book her again! 🐾❤️"

"We are so pleased to have found Barbara to care for our two dogs and cat over the Easter long weekend, we enjoyed our time away without any worries knowing she was taking wonderful care of them. Barbara kept us up to date by sending me photos and messages each evening, and it was lovely to see my babies enjoying walks, playtime and cuddles on the couch just like they do when we are home. Our house was left lovely and clean! I will be recommending Barbara to everyone looking for a smart, kind and responsible pet sitter. Thank you Barbara 😊❤️"

Why house sitting ?

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Five Dock NSW home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Five Dock NSW.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Five Dock NSW home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Pet owners book house sitting in Five Dock NSW on Pawshake. Over 3967 pet owners in Five Dock NSW have left a review, with an average of 4.96/5. All paid safely using Visa, Mastercard, American Express
