Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Eumundi QLD home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Eumundi QLD.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Eumundi QLD home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

I have always shared a deep connection with animals. I grew up with a Labrador and a guinea pig who were part of our family, which taught me responsibility and attentiveness from a young age.My friends regularly trust me with their pets when they travel. I care for Rubi, an affectionate cat who enjoys brushing and calm companionship, and I walk Leo, a young and beautiful Bichon full of energy, practicing safe leash handling and positive reinforcement.I adapt to different temperaments, from playful dogs to shy pets needing patience. With new animals, I take time to build trust gently, respecting their space and observing their behavior cues. I follow each routine carefully, ensure secure environments, and monitor eating, hydration, and mood. In emergencies, I stay calm, contact the owner immediately, and follow veterinary instructions if needed. I also provide regular updates and photos, ensuring safety, comfort, and reassurance.

I provide reliable, compassionate pet sitting services designed to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. With a strong background in professional animal care and hands-on experience in veterinary and wildlife hospital environments, I am confident caring for pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs.
Every pet is unique, and I take the time to understand their routine, personality, and preferences. Whether your pet requires daily feeding and walks, medication administration, extra reassurance, or simply companionship, I tailor my care to suit them. I am experienced in recognising early signs of stress or illness and always prioritise your pet’s comfort, safety, and wellbeing.
I pride myself on being dependable, respectful, and attentive—not only to your pets, but also to your home. Regular updates, photos, and clear communication are always provided so you can relax knowing your pets are in caring, capable hands.
I have extensive experience caring for domestic pets including dogs, cats, and small animals, and I am confident with feeding routines, exercise, basic grooming, administering oral and topical medications, and providing attentive day-to-day care tailored to each animal’s needs.
My goal is to ensure your pets feel safe, settled, and loved in their own environment, receiving the same level of care and attention I would give my own animals.

Hi, I’m Mora! If there’s one thing you should know about me—it’s that I truly love animals. Dogs and cats have always been a huge part of my life, and for the past two years, I’ve been lucky enough to turn that love into my pet sitting service.
When I house sit, I make a point of being cautious, respectful of your spaces and extremely tidy.It is my preference that all dogs under my care are vaccinated, specially for allowing ourselves some walks along the park or the beach.

I am Fernanda from Brazil. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs and can’t imagine life without them. Becoming a pet sitter is a natural extension of my deep care and respect for animals. I believe all animals deserve love, safety, and compassion. Pet sitting helps me feel closer to my own dogs back home, brings me joy and comfort while I'm away from them and also give peace of mind to pet parents while they're away.
I have lifelong experience caring for dogs — both my own and for friends and family. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and also enjoy spending time with cats. I'm attentive, patient, and always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and well-cared-for.
I offer dog walking, home visits, and overnight stays to care for pets in their own safe and familiar space (as I cannot host pets at my place due to rental restrictions), and I’m also comfortable administering medication if needed.
Whether it’s cuddles, walks, playtime or simply calm company, I’ll adapt to your pet’s personality and needs with kindness, attention, and professionalism. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved companions!

️House sitting preferred - I am entirely flexible and can stay for however long️
Hi!
I'm Luka and quite literally everything in my life is centered around animals – whether that be my own kitties, my dad’s dogs or any other animal entering my eyesight.
I do not know what life without pets means and I certainly can't ever imagine living without animals in the future, which is also the reason why my stay here in Australia is becoming a little difficult in some aspects. I am incredibly fascinated by the wildlife and wish to see and experience it as much as possible, but I do miss having a furry friend by my side a lot, which is why I would love helping you whenever you need someone to accompany your pet!
I have never had issues getting along with pets and believe that I can befriend any animal in no time. (You'd think I think I'm a Disney princess.) My goal in life is truly just to spend as much time with animals as I can and one day hopefully own a farm.
I am available pretty much anytime – morning, afternoon, or evening – and am super flexible when it comes to timing. I’d love to offer shorter services like walking your dogs as well as longer services like watching your furfriends when you’re out of town. Anything works for me!
Here’s what I offer:
- Dog walking: Walks usually last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on your dog's needs. I love walking in parks, nature areas or calm neighborhoods – always making sure your dog feels safe and gets the right amount of activity.
- Home visits: I’ll spend plenty of time with your pet to feed, cuddle, play or just hang out (typically 30–60 minutes or longer if needed). I'm also happy to water your plants, bring in the mail, or do anything else that helps while you're away – just let me know!
- House sitting: I can absolutely stay at your home while you're away to make sure your pets are comfortable in their usual environment. I take home security seriously – locking up properly, keeping everything in order, and making the place look lived-in (lights, blinds, bins, etc.).
- Medication & grooming: While I’m not a professional groomer or vet, I can help with basic grooming like brushing and bathing if needed, and I’m comfortable administering simple medications as long as instructions are clear.
Since I don’t have a place of my own right now (I’m staying in hostels and hotels while traveling), I unfortunately can’t host animals myself – but I’m more than happy to come to you.
So, whether it’s a walk, a cuddle session, feeding time or overnight care – I’d love to be there for your furry family member. Just send me a message and we’ll work it out together!️

Hey there! I’m Maria, an animal lover from Argentina with years of experience caring for pets of all kinds.
My pet sitting journey began when several family members were away on holidays and needed someone to care for their pets at their homes. I’ve also provided pet sitting services in Townsville, looking after our landlord’s dog during her work trips.
Pet sitting is my passion because I believe every furry friend deserves love, attention, and care, just as I would give to my own. Whether it’s taking your dog for a fun walk, providing feeding and playtime visits, or staying overnight to keep your pets company, I’m here to ensure they feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m reliable, organized, and dedicated to treating your pets and home with the utmost care and respect.
Let’s chat about how I can help!

Hi, I’m Sky, a reliable and caring pet carer based in Mount Isa. I have extensive hands-on experience looking after multiple dogs of different breeds and temperaments. From feeding and daily walks to playtime and basic training, I’m committed to providing loving and responsible care for your pets.
I also completed an internship working with police dogs, where I gained valuable skills in dog handling, obedience training, and understanding canine behavior. This experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and trust when working with animals.
For your peace of mind, I received a rabies vaccination within the past three months and always prioritize the safety and wellbeing of every pet in my care.
Whether you’re going on holiday, working long shifts, or just need extra help managing your pet’s routine, I’m here to support you. I’m flexible, friendly, and passionate about animals — and I treat every pet as if they were my own. Let’s chat and see how I can help care for your furry family members!
