"Karen is a gem. Having just completed her pet sit of my two fur babies, I couldn’t be more happier. My two were n such good hands which is such a relief to find somebody that is reliable, honest, caring and trustworthy. Karen left my place looking and feeling clean and tidy, sending me a tonne of photos which took the anxiety out of wondering how they were coping due to past experiences with other pet sitter sites used in the past The only concern I have is that the word would get out about how wonderful Karen is and next time I need her, she might be booked up already."

"Emma was wonderful with our dog pet sitting when we went away. She was extremely easy to communicate with in the lead up and preparation as well as providing daily updates and photos of our fur baby whilst we were away. Would definitely recommend Emma and will absolutely book her again. "

"This is the second time Elizebeth has sat for me and I could not be happier with her care of both my dogs and my home. She regularly sent updates, videos and photos, which gave me great comfort to know that my babies were in great hands, and it was so nice to return to a clean and tidy home.

"Jay Dee was absolutely fantastic! Our dog is quite timid and wary of strangers, but she took to Jay Dee straight away (she didn't even need to bribe her with cheese!). It made leaving for our holiday so much easier knowing that our dog would be happy being left with Jay Dee. We had regular updates via text - but even before the sitting started we had regular communication with Jay Dee. She was responsive and clear in her communication, very reliable, and left the house super clean when the sit ended. The main thing was, the care and compassion she showed our staffy - that is always the biggest concern about going on holidays, isn't it? Well, with Jay Dee - we had no worries at all. Our dog took to Jay Dee right away, and was a bit depressed after she had left! Jay Dee followed any/all instructions regarding feeding, walking etc - we would consider ourselves lucky to be able to have Jay Dee sit for us again - in fact, we might just arrange our holidays around her availability - she was THAT good! Highly recommend!"

"We have 3 cats, and they all have extremely different needs and totally different personalities. We had previously had the same pet sitter for over 10 years and this was our first experience of using Pawshake.
We couldn't be happier with Mira. She came to our home prior to the stay to go over the many requirements we had for each cat and just to meet us in general, as I was extremely apprehensive about a new pet sitter that our cats did not know.
One of my cats has extreme anxiety when new people come into our home and she was very accommodating to his needs. I was also worried about them being inside cats and the possibility of them getting out. Mira completely understood this was a major priority for us and was very conscious of ensuring they were kept safe.
Mira sent us photos and updates every day, and after a couple of days of being away my apprehension disappeared and I knew we had made the right choice. They were clearly relaxed and happy. My youngest cat in particular took a real shine to Mira and was besotted with her.
I cannot recommend Mira more highly, she absolutely deserves the 5 stars we have given her. She clearly has an affinity with cats. We will definitely have her come again.

"I have had a lot of dog sitters over the years but none as good as Nayara. She really cared for my dogs, treated them how I would and provided daily updates and photos. It was obvious my dogs were very happy in the photos and videos and also when we got home. The house was left spotless and the dogs very happy. I am so pleased to find someone who can look after our dogs over and over again! Thanks Nay"

"I am a rescue foster carer and have 5 rescue Tibetan Spaniels and 1 rescue kitty. Four of the dogs are very traumatised due to their lengthy past of living in cages and without any human interaction, except for in a negative way. Due to this and understanding the challenges of babysitting them, I have not left them before. So, I had much anxiety about leaving them and really not that comfortable with someone coming into my home...but I needed a house-sitter.
I found Mariya after another babysitter on another Pet-sitting site let me down at the Meet and Greet stage (better this than during the house-sit which has happened to me before and also to a friend).
Mariya was (is) amazing. She is a caring, thoughtful, considerate, intelligent, capable and solution-orientated person.
Four of the dogs were manageable with Mariya providing some additional approaches in their best interests, yet all time consuming for her. However, one dog was beyond a challenge. Mariya worked with me (me remotely) for an appropriate approach that supported the dog and and also worked for the others. This really reassured me - both her frankness and the way she eagerly wanted to work through a solution. She was amazing! Another house-sitter would have given up.
I am vegan and have allergies. So, she decided without discussion to bring her own crockery, cutlery, cookware, sheets, towels so as not to contaminate anything of mine. Wow! I've never experienced such care and compassion. It definitely wasn't my expectation for her to do this.
I came home to a clean house, as clean as I left it and I'm a clean freak. I also came home to very happy babies. It was wonderful and reassuring.
OK - only negative... my kitty and one of the dogs have issued me with their Vacate Notices. They've decided to shift in with Mariya!! She was that loved by them and by all (and this was evident in the photos, clips she updated me with regularly).
I am unsure if Pawshake allow this, but would be happy for anyone considering Mariya to contact me for more information.
I feel I have not only found an amazing house-sitter, but also found a new wonderful friend.

"Ellie did a great job looking after Rodolph. She asked all the right questions beforehand and made him feel comfortable and relaxed from the get go, which was great as he can be a bit anxious around new people. Rodolph is a Lab so he's not exactly a small dog and can be a bit harder to manage at times, but Ellie handled him really well.
We came home to a happy, relaxed dog and a clean, tidy house We'd happily have her look after Rodolph again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter."
