I genuinely enjoy spending quality time with animals—whether that’s getting their energy out on a walk, providing companionship at home, or simply giving them extra care, affection, and attention while you’re away. I’ll always treat your pet like my own.

Animals have always been an important part of my life. When I was young, I grew up with a Labrador, and I was actively involved in caring for him every day — from feeding and walking to grooming and playtime. That experience taught me responsibility, patience, and how much love and attention dogs truly need.

Now, I have a 10-year-old poodle, so I understand not only the energy of younger dogs but also the special care and gentleness that senior dogs require. Living with dogs for many years has helped me understand their personalities, behaviors, and emotional needs.

In addition, I have volunteered at a dog shelter, where I gained experience handling different breeds and temperaments. I learned basic training techniques, proper leash handling, and how to help dogs feel safe and comfortable in new environments.

My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for dogs and my desire to provide owners with peace of mind. I treat every dog as if they were my own — with patience, affection, and careful attention to their routine.

For safety reasons, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home. Your dog’s health and well-being are always my top priority.

I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and currently have two dogs of my own, aged 10 and 5. This has given me experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels and personalities. Pets I Care For
I am most experienced with dogs and am happy to care for puppies, adult dogs and senior dogs. I am also comfortable caring for cats and other small household pets, depending on their needs. Feel free to send me a message to discuss your pet and their routine.
Availability &amp; Important Information
I currently work part-time, usually between 6:00am and 4:00pm, around 4–5 days per week. Outside of work, I dedicate my time to caring for pets and ensuring they receive plenty of attention, exercise and companionship.
Because I have dogs at home, I am unable to offer pet boarding at my own house. All pet sitting services are provided in the owner’s home, where your pet can remain comfortable in their familiar environment.
I am respectful, reliable and committed to following your pet’s routine as closely as possible. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, quiet company or extra care and attention, I’m happy to accommodate their individual needs.

I have also puppysat my friends dogs from dachshunds to German Shepards, so I understand how to look after all kinds big and small! They have stayed at my own place or I have stayed at their parents place and I have looked after them by walking them, feeding them, taking them to doggy beaches or parks and taking them for play dates. Hi, I'm Marlize and I live in the Illawarra region for over 4 years now. 
Since I was a little girl I always loved animals, specially dogs and cats, and always had one myself.
Every now and then I look after my friends dog and cat, and I have them over at my place as they are friendly with other dogs, as I also have 2 little dogs (malteseshitzu).
I love pets and I'll look after your pet as if they were mine, you can rest assure they will have lots of love while with me. Will take them for a walk and make sure they are fed according to their routine.
I like to take the dogs to MM beach in Port Kembla, or to the Shallows coast reserve in Shell Cove. Where is not dog free zone, I have them on the leash. 
I live in a apartment in Warrawong. If you dog is friendly with kids and other dogs, I can have them over at my place, otherwise happy to travel around 8 km distance.

I have always loved animals and currently share my home with two cats, though I grew up surrounded by dogs. I enjoy learning each animal’s unique personality, habits, and little quirks, which is one of the most rewarding parts of caring for them. I have over five years of experience looking after pets, especially cats and dogs, and I’ve genuinely enjoyed every moment of it.
