Top cities for house sitting in Australia

Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Bonner ACT home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Bonner ACT.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Bonner ACT home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

Hi I'm Kayleigh, an experienced vet nurse originally from the UK. I have a degree in veterinary nursing and companion animal behaviour, teaching puppy school back in Scotland. I cannot be with my own fur babies so would love to share my time with your pets, giving them comfort and care when you are away.
I am available for check ins, meal times, medications, walks and overnight care.
I have experience with all shapes and sized animals, while working professionally and pet sitting for friends and family. I will be working part time in a clinic in Canberra so will have a lot of free time to look after all your pets needs!
I currently live with two gorgeous cats Pumpkin (Calico) and Indie (Tabby) who love to get up to mischief.
I cannot take pets to my accommodation.
Please let me know your pets favourite toys, treats, scratches and their preferred routine to help minimise any confusion for them
Unfortunately I cannot look after rabbits due to allergies.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kayleigh

My names Astrid and I’m currently offering pet sitting services in Canberra!
I am currently 16 and still in school and have a lot of experience looking after animals of all kinds.
Honestly animals are my calling and I spend almost every hour of my day surrounded by animals and genuinely love looking after dogs, cats and everything living.
A little bit about me:
-I am a great plant owner as-well as pet owner so I can keep your leafy friends alive while your away
- I am very comfortable administering meds (I have prior experience with cats and dogs)
- I have 2 very high energy dogs- a border collie and Brittany spaniel, as-well as a cat
- I love walking dogs ( long bush walks are my favourite)
- I absolutely adore playing with cats and my feather wand skills are unbeatable

I am a very trust worthy person (which is the most important thing about me). Since trusting a stranger in your house can be pretty nerve racking I always make sure you and your animal are safe and comfortable.

To find out any other details about me feel free to message!

Hello My name is Justyna and I am an owner of Staffordshire Bull Terrier and let me tell you - it is so difficult to find someone to visit him or stay with him when I am away! So I figured there are more people like me who owns medium/large breeds and need someone to come to their house once or twice a day to feed and play with their dog when they are out and about. I also offer in your house sitting. I am happy to visit/house sit any dogs (big or small) - as long as they are friendly towards humans. Of your dog is selective in terms of other dogs, I can work with it too. I am passionate about animals, specifically dogs.I think I was a dog in my past life With a mature, trustworthy, and compassionate nature, I genuinely enjoy spending time with our furry friends and making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable.I have a three-year-old Toy Cavoodle of my own, so I understand how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for them.Pet sitting is something I truly enjoy, as it allows me to spend time with other lovely dogs while giving my own little companion the opportunity to socialise and enjoy some company.I will treat your pets with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own. Their safety, happiness, and well-being will always be my top priorities. You can feel confident knowing your beloved furry family members will be cared for with genuine affection and attention
