I’m a big animal lover with a certificate in animal care, where I learned about handling, behaviour, diet, and basic medical needs. As part of my course, I worked in a vet clinic, assisting with administering medication (orally and by IV), performing ultrasounds, and caring for patients of all sizes with professionalism and compassion.

I’ve cared for both big and small animals and am confident with cats and dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I have a solid understanding of animal behaviour, always respect an animal’s space, and know how to help anxious pets feel safe and comfortable.

I grew up with 8 dogs and have over 20 years of hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds and sizes—including Pitbulls, Staffies, Poodles, Cavoodles, Bulldogs, Labradors, and Golden Retrievers.

During home visits, I stay with your pets long enough to ensure they’re fed, walked (if needed), played with, and given lots of attention and care. I’m also happy to help with small tasks like watering plants, bringing in the mail, and checking on the house.

For dog walking, walks usually last 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs and energy levels. I walk in safe and pet-friendly areas nearby—local parks, walking tracks, or around your neighbourhood.

For house sitting, I can stay in your home and care for your pets for as long as required, as long as it fits in with my schedule. While house sitting, I take care to keep your home secure, follow your instructions, and maintain a clean and respectful space.

Over the years, I’ve learned so much about caring for dogs — from training techniques and understanding animal behaviour to the benefits of natural diets, the dangers of certain household products for pets, and how to manage allergies.

At the moment, my dog isn’t living with me, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for your furry friend. I’m also completely comfortable having other dogs around, and I love the energy and connection they bring.

I’m available for daily walks, keeping your dog company so they’re not alone during the day, or caring for them while you travel. I’m also a mum to a 4-year-old girl who shares my passion and respect for animals. Together, we provide a calm, caring, and loving environment for your pet.

I’m a Brit currently living on the Gold Coast, and one of the things I miss most about home is my big fluffy dog — a Caucasian Shepherd / Golden Doodle cross who’s been part of my family for the past seven years. Hi everyone, my name is Shannon &amp; I am from New Zealand. I have recently moved to the Gold Cost after travelling Europe with my partner Curtis for 8 months. While over there we pet sit for many people looking after dogs of all sizes &amp; cats in the UK &amp; Spain! I absoutely loved it and loved the bond I created with each animal. I have always been a animal lover from a very young age and grew up in a house hold with a large Rhodesian Ridgeback named Moh, who is a gentle giant. From a young age (14) I was trusted to look after family friends dogs such as Hungarian Vizsla, GSP's Labrador, Chihuahua's, Cocker Spaniel and the odd cat &amp; Maine Coon cat! I have then continued looking after friends, flatmates &amp; families animals, caring for them as if they were my own. I am extremely active, caring, respectful and would love to have a pet of my own but until then Pawshake will give me a slice of that! I am very comfortable with looking after and walking dogs of all shapes &amp; sizes.

I am Hugo Alonso, 29 years old, and I've had pets my entire life (since I was a kid). My first pet was a coker spaniels named Cookie and she was the most lovable dog, I remember teaching her bringing my snacks back from the store, I put my snack in her mouth and she kindly bit it back. Then when she passed, we adopt 2 foster dogs, Canela and Negrita, and we spent the best 12 years together. I used to walk them out 2 times a day, in the morning and when I got back from school or university. Also I played with them, separately, because Canela was really jealous. Sometimes, I used to take them near the beach to have long walks and to play with a tennis ball. Nowadays, back in my home country, we have adopted a foster cat named "Tom" as in Tom &amp; Jerry cartoons and he's amazing, he climbs everything in the house, play with his toys and makes everybody laugh.
Additionally, I find myself as an animal lover, of any kind, I really enjoy their company and they mine. Therefore I believe your pet and I are going to have the best time together! :)
