I’m based in Merewether and offer local dog walks, drop-in visits, and house/pet sitting, with a wider travel radius. I work full-time during the week, so I’m best suited to evening visits and have more flexibility on weekends.

Hello :) I'm Louisa, in my early 30s, and originally from Germany. After completing my Master's degree (Global Health) in Sweden, I moved to Australia with my partner about a year ago and have been able to gather ample of pet sitting experience.
I primarily offer pet care in the home of pet owners and therefore enjoy walking dogs in their familiar surroundings. This maintains routines, so the dogs feel safe and can enjoy their familiar paths and favourite places.
I lived with my own dog for over 13 years. She was a rescue and a beloved family member to me. Through her, I learned not only about the daily care but also the responsibility and patience required to provide an animal with a happy life.&nbsp;
During my travels, I was also able to gain valuable practical experience: In Romania, I worked at an animal shelter and a clinic for dogs and cats, in Spain, I helped at a dog rescue center, and in Malaysia, I supported a cat rescue. My duties there included administering medication, bottle feeding, and providing intensive care for sick and young animals.&nbsp;
In addition, I took on numerous pet-sitting assignments last year, including around 20 multi-day assignments in Australia – many of them for recurring clients.&nbsp;

I'm Steph - a friendly, reliable, professional, and animal-loving human living in Maitland with my partner, two dogs (a 5yo Frenchie and 7yo Terrier X), and a bunny  I have been caring for pets my whole life, and adore all animals - big and small. I've struggled to find reliable housesitters myself, and understand how anxiety inducing it can be to leave your pets in the care of someone else.&nbsp;I aim to provide the same level of care and love for your pets that I would expect for my own I have a medically complex Frenchie so am experienced and confident in administering medication, injections, and applying creams etc. I work from home full-time as a researcher and therapist, so am available to provide walks and house visits as needed, or housesit at your place. I have a fully-fenced back deck and plenty of indoor space, as well as leafy surrounding suburbs to walk around. For the safety of your pets and mine, I only accept bookings for fully vaccinated pets. I'm looking forward to meeting your pets and treating them like my own (read: like spoilt fur babies)!&nbsp;

Hi! I’m Melania, 26 years old, originally from Uruguay and currently living in Australia. I studied Medicine for three years back home and moved to Australia four years ago, where I decided to discontinue my degree. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics and working casually.

I’ve been around animals my whole life and have two dogs back home — Camilo (a Pug) and Frida (a German Shepherd). Thanks to my medical background, I’m comfortable administering medications, including injections, to animals when required, following owners’ instructions.

During this time, I worked at a kennel in Queensland and in a dingo rescue near Canberra, where I took care of dingoes for two months. Then I looked after and walked a Golden Retriever in Sydney for three months. I would love to be around dogs, cats, or other animals again, which is why I am looking to do pet sitting. I have a car, so I can easily come to your home and take your dog(s) to the beach or the park if you wish. I also have a cat waiting for me in France. I am a 32 year old Chilean 'young man' who has lived around dogs all life, however, I came to Australia and don't intend to have any pets yet, so I miss the feeling of walking, playing and running with them. I enjoy being around any kind of dogs, but have more experience with bigger size breeds. I also have the ability to go out with more than one if necessary. I usually have good chemistry with dogs I haven't met before and I feel like I understand their need really well. I love to go for a jog with them or just going for a chill walk so they can enjoy the outdoor and release some energy. If you want your dog to go out to enjoy and be in good hands do not hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to coordinate and have both a great experience. I would go to any close Parks or walks along the Beach, depending on location. Preferable Newcastle East - Merewether Walks. 30min to 1 hour walk, depending on the dog's energy.
