"Steph is a great house and pet sitter. So helpful, really cares about animals and takes the job really seriously. We have three cats and she was there for them. "Mya was booked to care for my 2 dogs, one of whom was sick with an aggressive cancer who unfortunately passed before our booking. She was so caring and loving to my remaining dog and put my mind at ease through regular updates. The house was exactly as I left it and she was a great communicator. I will definitely book with Mya again if I need a sitter and highly recommend her services. "

"Gabby was easy to communicate with and very friendly from start to finish. We were very comfortable leaving her in charge of our house and 6yo Greyhound for 17 nights when we went on holidays. Gabby sent regular messages and photos which showed that our dog was in good hands and comfortable with his dog sitter. When we arrived home both house and dog were in perfect condition. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gabby's services to my friends and family. "

"Valentina and Esteban are highly reliable and trustworthy. They are clearly passionate about dogs and looked after our mini schnauzers, Chester and Monty, with much love, care and fun. They also maintained our house while we were away and kept it very tidy, clean and spotless. "Jenn took amazing care of my dog poppy while me and my partner travelled interstate. We got constant updates and photos which really alleviated any anxieties we had about leaving her. Jenn was incredibly respectful of our home and Poppy got a long great with her which was amazing as she struggles to warm up to people. 10/10 Would hire again "

"Vy was an absolute lifesaver—she accepted our booking with less than 12 hours’ notice after our original sitter, Madeleine, let us down. Madeleine overfed the pets, kept the dog locked in, arrived late, and abandoned them the second night after I asked her to let the dog out (locked for over 20 hours). Motion sensors and cameras (she was informed in writing) confirmed she lied about doing it, then canceled and left our pets alone for 24 hours! It was the most distressing time! Stuck in Fiji with limited internet connection and no family support in Melbourne, I honestly hope no one has to go through this!!
Pawshake immediately cancelled Madeleine Oruba.
Thankfully, I found Vy through old messages, and she stepped in instantly! She cared for our senior pets, gave them medication, kept us updated with photos, and flagged issues like peeing on rugs, vomiting and food shortages. The previous sitter had used 8+ tins of cat food in just two days!
Vy is reliable, honest, and an excellent communicator. We’re incredibly grateful she was there when we needed her most. Thank you Vy! "

"We booked Alvina very last minute as our original cat sitter had to cancel, so we were very hesitant going forward, but Alvina exceeded our expectations!
She understood the needs of the cats, both of whom were senior and was very proactive with asking any questions.
She kept us updated every single day, twice a day, with long, informative messages, and plenty of photos. Couldn’t be happier and we would without hesitation use her again, or recommend her to anyone! Alvina is the BEST!"

"Brendan house sat our two whippets for 10 weeks (April - June). We'd never left the dogs for that length of time before and I was apprehensive about leaving them for so long with someone they didn't know. But at our meet and greet I knew we had the right person, and we were able to go away and totally enjoy our holiday without any concerns. Brendan had attention to detail in all areas of our dog's wellbeing and communicated regularly with information/discussion and photos. Due to this we were confident that no matter what situation our dogs could be in Brendan would make wise choices for our dogs best outcomes. Our older boy, Boz suffers with separation anxiety and it takes him awhile to settle in with new people. During these first few weeks there were a couple of days Brendan had other arrangements, and couldn't stay with the dogs. Although we had a family member stay we had Brendan walk/visit Boz & Brianna. I was taken by the amount of time and care he gave them during these few days. Brendan went over and beyond what I was expecting. His care and concern for Boz was amazing. We came home to two very happy, content dogs. Brendan was here when we arrived home and gave us a thorough hand-over. We were also able to see how Boz and Brianna interacted with him; they were very comfortable and relaxed around him, and enjoyed going to him for pats and cuddles. (this was the true testament of their care) After been home for a few days now, our 2yr old is a lot more settled and also better on her lead. Also, Brendan left the house in perfect condition. We will certainly have Brendan look after our two again and would not hesitate recommending Brendan to care for your pets."

"We were so incredibly impressed with Bridget's care of our three shy cats! She has a gift with shy cats :) She didn't just look after them; she truly engaged with them through play, cuddles, and treats. This surprised me because my cats are so scared of strangers or even my friends!
The regular, accurate photo updates were fantastic and so appreciated. We could tell she provided exceptional care and genuine affection, which made our trip away so much easier. We wholeheartedly recommend Bridget! :)"

"As always, Mel was fantastic looking after our girls for our 10 day trip away. We looked forward each day to seeing photos and hearing what they were all up to. The girls are so well looked after with Mel here, we knew our senior dog was getting her medication and Mel did everything to help her eat as she was having trouble, which is now all better thanks to Mel. I had very little anxiety being away knowing our house and girls were safe with Mel.

"Tania goes above and beyond when she cat sit for Percy. She made in instant connection with him and he was cuddled up in bed with her on the first night. From the start she was highly communicative, patient, very flexible, kind, understanding and knows exactly how to work with cats. The regular updates and photos really gave peace of mind too and were hilarious.
What was only supposed to be a few nights sitting turned into a week, but Tania was so obliging, and was willing to keep sitting him, even happy to take him home with her to help me out and so he wouldn't be lonely. A week later I hired her again, and she once again did an amazing job. Tania guarantees you and your furry friend are both in very good hands and your furry friend will have made a new bestie and will be accompanied basically the entire time. Can't recommend her enough. "
