Are you going away but have a pet that prefers to stay in their own environment? Or perhaps you have a range of different animals and it’s not practical for you to organise for them to stay in different places? Then you might want to consider finding a Pawshake house sitter to come and stay at your Ashby WA home while you are away.

House sitting is a convenient and affordable option when you have multiple pets and also want your house to be securely looked after while you are away. Many of our pet sitters have very reasonable house sitting rates because they enjoy staying and exploring different local neighbourhoods like Ashby WA.

At Pawshake, we understand that trusting your home to a stranger can be a little daunting. So we’ve done all the hard work to ensure that your Pawshake house sitter is trustworthy and reliable. All our pet sitter profiles are checked individually by our dedicated trust and safety team and some house sitters also have their own police checks which they can share with you.

The best thing about engaging a Pawshake verified house sitter is that you can relax knowing that on top of being covered by The Pawshake Guarantee which includes veterinary coverage, so your pets are being cared for in a familiar environment and your Ashby WA home is also being looked after as well.

In addition to looking after your pets, most of our house sitters will happily help you by collecting your mail, taking out the bins, and watering your plants. Just make sure you discuss all your requirements with your chosen house sitter prior to booking.

My motivation to be a pet sitter stems from my lifelong passion for animals and my commitment to their well-being. From a young age, I have been deeply connected to animals, and this passion has only grown over the years. I believe that every animal deserves love, attention, and personalized care, especially when their owners are unable to be present. Being a pet sitter allows me to provide this essential care and support, ensuring that pets feel safe and comfortable even in their owners' absence. Providing a safe and welcoming environment for pets is something I take great pride in, and it brings me immense joy to see animals happy and well-cared for.

Yes, I have extensive experience taking care of my own animals and my friends' animals in Brazil. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to work with various species of dogs and cats, each with their own unique needs and personalities. This hands-on experience has helped me develop skills in administering medications, providing post-operative care, and handling animals of all ages and temperaments. My approach is always gentle and patient, ensuring that each animal feels secure and loved.

For the safety and health of all pets in my care, I do require that pets be vaccinated before they come into my home. This policy is in place to ensure a safe environment for everyone involved, preventing the spread of diseases and keeping all animals healthy. I believe that maintaining a strict vaccination policy is essential for the well-being of all pets and helps create a harmonious and safe space for them to thrive.

I have always had a deep love and respect for animals, which has only grown stronger through my experiences owning multiple cats and sitting for many dogs. While I am a cat person at heart, I also have a great affection for dogs and enjoy spending time with them just as much. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from this genuine passion for animals and my desire to ensure they receive the care, attention, and love they deserve, even when their owners are not around.

What experience do you have with pet sitting or pet care?

I have owned multiple cats over the years, which has given me firsthand experience in understanding their unique needs and behaviors. Additionally, I have cared for many dogs through pet sitting, which has broadened my ability to cater to the needs of different animals. My experience with both cats and dogs has made me confident in handling various situations, from ensuring pets are well-fed and exercised to providing them with the companionship they need.

Do you accept pets into your home?

While I love pets deeply, I do not accept them into my home. However, I am fully committed to providing top-notch care in the pet’s own familiar environment, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away.

Hi, I'm Ronald, 28, from Ecuador, and I can speak Spanish and English. All my life in my country, I have had pets such as dogs, cats, fish, turtles, and hamsters.
I can pet sit your dog or cat or anypet at your home. I will make sure he gets fed, have a fresh water, have the opportunity to go to the bathroom and get cuddles and play. One visit up to 1h $20, two visits a day $35.
I will walk your dog for 30-45min depending on their needs and fitness, $20, additional pet $10. I won't let dog off the leash in public space or exercise dog in the heat of the day.
In my house, we love pets, and we take great care of them in their diet and when they walk because they are one more member of our family, like a brother. For me, it is great to be able to spend my time surrounded by pets. I have learned a lot about taking care of dogs since it is the pet that I have had the longest for more than 15 years.
Our dogs have been from the same family since we first had Jade, a schnauzer dog who had her puppies, and we stayed with her and a puppy that we named Jade daughter. She had puppies, and in the same way, we are left with two of them now with Doruk, a puppy, and Nisa, another puppy, that are the ones we have at the moment, and all of them have had the good care that I have given them daily.
It would be a pleasure to continue spending my time with pets.
