"Hands down the best pet sitter ever!I cannot recommend Aiye enough! She watched our four furbabies—our two big dogs (Anika and Bentley) and our two cats (Kobi and Aki)—from July 15th to 21st while we were away in Bali for our wedding.
Leaving our pets for a trip that huge was super stressful, but Aiye gave me complete peace of mind. She sent photos and videos every single day, was always super easy to reach, and answered any texts right away. Seeing those updates while away was such a massive relief. From our very first meetup, all four of our pets clicked with her instantly. She genuinely loved them, picked up on their little personalities right away, and catered to their every need. She followed our routine to a T! Managing our setup isn't simple. Our dogs are outdoors only and our cats are strictly indoors. She handled feeding perfectly, keeping our big food-thief Anika over in the car porch area while Bentley got to take his sweet time eating on the decking. She also looked after the cats' feeder, water, and litter without missing a beat. Aiye goes SO far above and beyond. At one point, our youngest cat Aki decided to hide behind the TV. Aiye spent her entire visit searching for him to make sure he was okay. I literally told her she could go home and I’d just check our indoor cameras later to see when he came out, but she refused to leave until she actually found him herself! She left the house absolutely spotless. We adore her and her husband so much that we told them to help themselves to drinks and snacks and kick back with the TV while visiting. To be honest, I trust her with my pets when I don't even feel comfortable leaving them with family (besides my sister!). I will 100% be hiring her every single time we travel from now on. You truly couldn’t ask for a better person to trust with your animals!"

"Seeun was an exceptional cat sitter. She is knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely caring, and took wonderful care of our cat, Luna, with daily visits over three weeks.
She was always reliable and communicated consistently, sending us plenty of photos and updates each day. Luna quickly became comfortable with Seeun and clearly loved the attention and care she received. Seeing their photos together gave us great peace of mind while we were away.
When we returned, Luna was happy and well cared for, and our home was spotless. We’re so grateful to have found Seeun, and we’ve already rebooked her for our next trip. We highly recommend Seeun to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter."

"This was my first time arranging a stranger to care for my cats and I couldn’t be happier with the service Claire provided. When I met her I could tell there was nothing to worry about. She is friendly and a great communicator. I can tell she really loves cats, too. My cats are usually quite shy but warmed to her quickly. When I got home from a short trip out of Melbourne my apartment was just as I left it. I would definitely recommend choosing Claire for your next pet sitter :)"

"Carolina helped me to take care my cat in early May, she is patient, reliable and has a great communication skills. While I was away, Carolina makes sure my cat has a good care, she sent my pics of my cat and communicated with me in a detailed way.
Carolina is also very flexible which is great for someone who is looking for an urgent care for their furry baby.
I strongly recommend Carolina and will book her next time 🙂🙂"

"Would highly recommend Chester for cat sitting, and I will definitely have him if we ever go for a trip in the future again.
Very smooth communication, and he’s experienced in taking care of cats and kittens. We’ve received some valuable advices from him regarding how to create a better and safer environment for animals at home.
Thank you Chester! Would love to meet your cat someday :) "

"Emma is everything we were after from a pet sitter to look after our cats. She cared for them well and communicated clearly. She also managed to get our more nervous cat to come out for pats (which is no easy feat for someone new). We will definitely ask Emma to sit for us again if she stays in the business!

"Capucine & Declan are incredible pet sitters!
They go above and beyond. They took care of all 3 of our animals while overseas, 2 visits a day and dog walking: sent me photos every visit updating me on each of the animals. Cleaned the areas each animal uses and maintained the cleanliness of the entire house. We extended our holiday and kept them on without any worry or concern for our animals.
This couple is a dynamic duo, reliable, honest, kind & a true power pet sitting force. Will use this duo every time we go away or for extra walks when needed. You won’t regret using this duo!! "

Your pet sitting questions answered
Is Pawshake like a pet hotel?
No: unlike a pet hotel, your furry friend will never stay in a cage, or even leave home if this doesn't suit you. Pet sitting can either be in a safe home environment, or in your own home. It's very personalised to suit you and your pet.
Who can be a pet sitter?
We have hundreds of applicants to join Pawshake every week, but we accept less than 25% of these. Anyone who joins our website must have practical pet care experience and a motivation to be able to provide excellent service. They must be also be verified by SMS, email and location.
What do I get when I book a pet sitter?
When you book a pet sitter through Pawshake, you are getting a personalised carer who can meet your needs. Is your pet a bit shy? Then book a sitter who can stay in your home or pop by to visit. Does your pet love company? Then arrange for your pet to have a fun staycation in a sitter's family home.
