"Maxine took care of our cat for about a month while we were overseas. She was super quick to respond to any communication and very professional in every aspect. As a pet owner and pet lover, she has heaps of experience with pets . Maxine is very reliable and was extraordinarily helpful. She walked an extra mile for us by sorting out a mail parcel delivery issue while we were away. This is obviously not something she was required to do. I would highly recommend Maxine for taking care of your pets."

"So grateful to have had Ellen attend to my fur boys! Punctual, sends regular updates, and clearly an animal lover. Most importantly, the fur boys loves her and I could tell (via pet cam) they looked forward to her visits and she absolutely put my mind to rest. Will absolutely look to book Ellen again - she's exactly as her profile says!"

"This is the 2nd time Maria & her hubby have looked after my cats and I’m a nervous pet owner leaving them in someone else’s hands but I don’t hesitate to recommend them. My cats are always so relaxed when I get home. Maria sends me many txts, videos and pictures. She’s an absolute gem. Can’t thank them enough. "

Your pet sitting questions answered
Is a pet sitter better than a pet hotel?
In many cases, yes. Not all pets suit every situation and some pets need specific forms of care, and Pawshake allows your pet to choose the care that suits them. This might mean that your pet goes to stay in a warm family home, or stay in their own home. It depends on what you and your pet need.
Who exactly are your pet sitters?
Pawshake pet sitters come from many walks of life. They may have recently retired, and can offer their time to care for pets. They could be training or studying pet care and want more experience. Either way, you can trust that only the most motivated and caring applicants make it onto our website.
What does a pet sitter do?
A pet sitter can offer a variety of services, from in-home care at their place, to visiting or staying with your pet at yours. They can exercise your dog, bring in mail and water your plants. It just depends on what suits you best, so reach out to a sitter today and have a chat about your needs.
Do you have pet sitters in Adelaide?
We sure do: Adelaide has sitters all over the city and surrounding suburbs. Just search our website using our search filters and you will see a list of sitters who would love to give you a hand. Have a look at the profiles, read past reviews and send a message with your requirements.
