I'm very pleased with Pierette's care of my dog for two weeks. She states in her profile that she is a 'professional full time' dog sitter, and this is the case. Other carers have work-from-home occupations which means they'll be on-hand to look after a dog while doing their 'real' job; Pierette's actual *job* is taking care of the dogs, and it shows, in the doggie activities undertaken each day, organised with the experience and enthusiasm of a 'professional' dog lover. In finding a dog sitter I wanted both human and canine company for my dog and Pierette and her family provided this. I am also grateful for their flexibility in taking care of things when a pre-existing ear infection flared up during my absence, necessitating their accommodation of a house call by the vet, pickup of medication and administering same (and handling the messy side-effect!). 'Communication' should be rated ten stars out of five, as Pierette sent a large number of photographs and videos each day through Whatsapp to keep me apprised of my dog's activities. It was delightful to come home each day and catch up with what my dog had been doing during his holiday.

We recently had the pleasure of having our mini dachshund cared for by Alice, who was an absolutely wonderful dog sitter. From the very beginning, Alice took the time to ask thoughtful questions about routines, preferences, and care needs to ensure the best possible support and comfort for our dog while we were away. Throughout the stay, we received daily photos and updates, which gave us so much reassurance and made it clear how loved and well cared for she was. Alice regularly took her for walks and gave her plenty of playful attention and affection, which she absolutely loved. It was obvious Alice genuinely cared and went above and beyond to make our dog feel safe, happy, and settled. The biggest sign of how amazing the experience was came afterwards — our mini dachshund noticeably missed Alice after we had returned home! That level of connection and trust speaks volumes about the kindness, patience, and care she showed. We would highly recommend Alice to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely caring dog sitter.
