HelloMy name is Kiera. I am 19 and I enjoy going on walks, reading, playing soccer, listening to music, and of course, I love animals. I’ve had pets my whole life (dogs, cats, and guinea pigs), and now that I’ve graduated from school, I’m hoping to gain more experience caring for pets so I can hopefully pursue a career in animal care.
I am currently living in a house with my sister and her cat, Luxi. Luxi is both an indoor and outdoor cat, so there may be some interaction between her and your pet. Our backyard is very spacious, with plenty of grassy area for running around as well as lots of undercover shelter. We also live right on the waterfront, which makes for a great environment for walks. &nbsp;
I’ve already completed a Certificate II in Animal Care at TAFE, so I’m qualified in the basics when it comes to looking after your animals. I was also the go-to pet sitter for friends and family growing up, so I have experience caring for a variety of animals and breeds.
I truly just love animals, and I’m sure you do too as pet owners. I’ll make sure your pets receive as much love and attention as they usually do, and I’ll take the time to ensure they feel safe and cared for while they’re missing you. Any breed, any age, and all personalities are welcome.

I have been petsitting since approximately September 2019 and find it extremely rewarding.
Through Pawshake I have minded cats, dogs, birds, fish and even guinea pigs.
I have looked after dogs as young as 8 weeks right up to 14+ years, so have experience across a range of ages and various needs/requirements in terms of health etc.
I also spent approximately 6 months volunteering at the RSPCA Dakabin in the dog adoption area, so have had hands on experience with some dogs who were very shy or nervous and had previously not been treated well.
I want your animals to feel completely at home and comfortable, just as if it were their owners there with them.
I reside on Russell Island, having moved August 2022. Happy to travel for bookings however additional fees to cover the cost of getting my car off the island will be applicable.
I can provide in home sitting in either your home, or mine. I do have 2 small dogs of my own, but they are okay on their own overnight if required. Extended bookings would require them to come with me.

Hi, I am a great cat and dog lover, and have always had my own cat/s. Earlier this year my old boy Oska passed away, and for now, I am wanting to get my fix by helping others find wonderful accommodation for their furbabys, while you are on holidays.&nbsp;
Happy to do one cat (or bonded pairs/triplets), as my space is very large, but not individual rooms. The cat/cats have full access to downstairs, kitchenette, open plan lounge/dining, bedroom and bathroom, with lots of windows, sunny spots and hidey holes 
The space is safe and secure and cats cannot get out. I am happy to give medications, injections if required also. I will send daily photos to update you on your cat's happiness.
Also happy to do house visits for cats and dogs (and walking), and birds would be very welcome also.
Your furbaby will be very well looked after, and showered with love and pats (as much as they want to accept ). You can supply your own food, or I will supply at additional cost.



Hi! I’m Paris, and I’m based in Carina. I work full-time, but I’m available for dog walks after work and on weekends. I also offer weekend daytime care, as well as house sitting and overnight stays for dogs. While I don’t have formal dog-walking experience, I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and genuinely love spending time with dogs, making sure they feel safe, cared for, and comfortable.
Please note that my current home does not have a backyard; however, if a dog prefers or requires more open space, I’m able to stay with my partner, who can accommodate this. My partner is based in coopers plains and is surrounded by parklands as well as a dog park.

After caring for children &amp; the family pets as a Nanny/Babysitter in their home for over 29 years it was an easy transittion to become a pet sitter from our home.
As I work from home now we thought it would be good for Mango to have some playmates.
We have a fully fenced &amp; secure back yard with large trees &amp; gardens for the doggies to play &amp; sniff !!&nbsp;
They will have plenty of shade or the choice of a secure, roofed deck to laze around on.
Mango has a daybed he loves to share with at least 2 other dogs &amp; there will be other large soft beds to curl up on. Plenty of bowls of water around.
We enjoy getting down in the yard &amp; encourage all the pooches to join us to play ball games &amp; a run around.
Lots of pats &amp; cuddles.
We are happy to care for desexed &amp; vacinated doggies.
We would like you to supply your doggies own - food, bowl, lead &amp; bedding.
Feeding will be done seperately so everyone will eat their own food.
This will keep them all safe &amp; happy!!
Our deck will be locked &amp; secure for them to sleep at night or if your furbaby is an inside doggy we have a safe area indoors for them to sleep.
Meet &amp; Greets are most important so we would make arrangements prior to dates required.
We made a decision not to care for Staffy's or X-Breed Staffy's.
Unfortunately we don't take dogs under 2 years old, no puppies.
All dogs must be toilet trained.
We don't do wee/poo mats
Must be able to go down stairs as we don't do doggy doors.

We are looking to care for kind, loving happy poochies like our beautiful boy.

**Please Note: I am able to mind only ONE dog at a time (or 2 from the one owner). I have a senior aged little JR, and I need to take her needs into consideration (though don't tell her she is nearly 17!) She gets on absolutely great with visiting small dogs(refer photos), and besides, that way, your little dog will get my full attention. I do have another Jack Russell, (born April 2021) - LOVES company. Both are well trained, and gentle.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Having recently retired, and after doing some traveling for house and horse sits throughout South East Qld, it's time to stay home and mind some lovely little dogs for their owners to get away.&nbsp;
I have recently installed a 6-8' Colorbond fence, I offer a safe secure yard with plenty of room for your little mate to play and run in. And it IS escape proof! From the owner of a true Houdini, this yard has finally beaten her! My house is also in a very quiet safe area. Lots of doggie beds, toys, shelter, water bowls, etc.&nbsp;
Being retired, I am home all day. I live in a flat area, close to a lovely park should your dog need a walk (NO extra charge and only if you want your dog to have a walk, and I do not let visiting dogs off the lead). My yard has plenty of cover, back patio has a doggy door, no garden, and dog can have access to the house. I am more than happy to mind senior dogs, dogs with ailments (deaf, blind, medication, post op, etc). My older Jack Russell is extremely well behaved, very gentle, well trained and LOVES company, but I do need to stipulate - I am only able to mind small/smaller breed dogs. Care for puppies upon individual requests, but again, only small breeds.
I also offer pick up and drop off if needed - I will need to discuss this individually with clients.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Please note that overnight rate is per 24 hours, though an extra hour or 2 acceptable. To drop off at 7.00am one day and pick up 8.00pm the next day is both an overnight charge, and a day charge.&nbsp;
