Hi!  I am Jo and I adore all animals, especially dogs and cats. We have two dogs at home, a mini poodle called Nero and a Portie called Luna, plus mainly gold fish in our fish pond. I have always had dogs and cats, since I can remember as well as horses, rabbits (not in Qld!) and hamsters. I love taking my two pups for long walks in nature and we all love the beach. There are so many good walks around us here and several dog parks, often empty when we pop down or just a few happy regular furry freinds and happy owners.&nbsp;
🪷Myself and my my husband are both WFH, I am Part time, so plenty of time for cuddles and pats with the fur babies. I am also continuing my studies in Meditation and Mindfulness Teaching.&nbsp;
&nbsp;🫣I totally understand how stressful it can be when you go away. You just want the best care possible for your pets. I will do everything possible to make your furry family member happy and content. Both our fur babies are non-shedding, so for home stays, this is essential. When staying with us there will be lots of cuddles, playtime, with regular updates and photos, plus Nero and Luna to keep them company.&nbsp;
 When staying with us your furry one will sleep in our room, Nero and Luna have their own beds. Our pups prefer to be inside most of the day but can go out whenever they like through the doggy door. I also take Nero and Luna for a 45 minute walk each day.
I can administer medication orally or topically and happy to work with you on this, as I understand some pets have allergies / conditions requiring extra care. Please make sure your furry family member is flea and tick treated and fully vaccinated. I totally understand if your puppy is not fully house trained and please dont worry as it takes time for them to learn ️
‍I am happy to look after cats in your own home as sadly we can't have a cat at home due to my husband's allergies. I am happy to look after all kinds of pets at your home though and can over 2 visits a day, or more for your peace of mind. Just get in touch and let me know how I can help.

I offer 30-minute, 1-hour, and 2-hour walks and pet sitting, and I’m happy to tailor everything to suit your pet’s routine—whether that’s relaxed walks, high-energy playtime, or just keeping them company. I’m reliable, patient, and love getting to know each pet’s personality.

During pet sitting, I stick closely to their usual daily routine—including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any medications—so their environment feels familiar and stress-free. I have looked after and cared for many pets over the years, mostly being dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, birds and fish but I am very excited to further my knowledge and would love to take care of your pet. I have cared for multiple pets at a time and can handle the work load. 

I do understand that sometimes not all animals get along, just like humans, and will make sure they get their own space while both being cared for. I have had this happen before with 2 dominant dogs and once they were given space they no longer felt on edge. 

I have a full time job (Monday - Thursday). I would prefer to board dogs from Friday- Sunday just so I can give them my full attention but I am happy to discuss further and arrange something that suits. I am more than happy to walk dogs before and after work (Monday - Thursday) or Friday - Sunday anytime.

My husband and I live in a lovely 2 storey town home with a fully fenced in courtyard and are only a 5min walk to the stunning Banks Street Reserve.

We are in our mid 30's and early 50's. We are looking to help some locals out whilst enriching our day to day lives with your beautiful fur-baby, whilst we do not have our own dog, we have both owned dogs previously and do plenty of dog-sitting for our friends and family.

We enjoy being outdoors as much as we do relaxing in our courtyard listening to music and having a BBQ, the local pub that is dog-friendly is also one of our fave spots to visit!

Our space has a spare room for lounging in the AC on hot days, all tiled floors with carpets upstairs - don't worry, we have a professional grade carpet shampoo machine if there happens to be any little accidents.
