Hi, I’m Dewmi Fernando, and I have always had a deep love and respect for animals. Growing up surrounded by pets, I developed a strong understanding of their needs, personalities, and the care they require. My passion for animal welfare has led me to pet sitting, where I can provide pets with a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while their owners are away.
My Experience
I have 10 years of experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs and cats. My experience includes feeding, grooming, administering medication, and engaging in enrichment activities to ensure pets feel happy and secure. I have worked with pets of all sizes and temperaments, including energetic breeds and anxious rescue animals, tailoring my approach to suit each pet’s unique needs.

I only accept vaccinated pets to ensure the health and safety of all animals in my care. I home visit dogs and cats where I will offer a pet-friendly space ensuring the safety of pets, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and play. I offer personalized care based on your pet’s routine, whether that includes daily walks, interactive play, or quiet companionship.

I provide a calm, safe and structured home environment where dogs are treated like family, not just a booking.

I currently have my own small dog, so I understand daily routines, behaviour, and how important it is for dogs to feel secure in a new place. My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from genuinely enjoying time with dogs and creating a space where they can relax, feel safe, and be well cared for.

My home is clean, quiet and pet-friendly, with a dedicated indoor area and a secure playpen setup. This allows me to safely manage dogs when needed and ensure they are always supervised. Dogs are never left unattended in unsafe areas.

In terms of routine, dogs will typically receive 2 walks per day depending on their needs and energy level. I am home most of the time, so dogs are rarely left alone, and if I do step out, it is only for short periods.

Dogs will sleep indoors in a comfortable and temperature-controlled environment. I can follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, toilet training (pads available), and rest times.

When introducing a new dog to my own dog, I always do a slow and controlled introduction to ensure both dogs feel comfortable and safe.

For safety outdoors, all dogs are kept on leash at all times. As I do not rely on a backyard setup, I ensure all outdoor activities are controlled and secure.

I can also assist with basic training reinforcement, routine care, and administering simple medication if required.

Pet sitting or dog boarding is something we have done for our friends and also sent out beloved dog mulitple times, we can understand the worry and dilemma for care and wellbeing hence we are here to provide the hassle &amp; stress free service for the same. Have had dogs all our lives currently have a super friendly and loving Staffy who loves to play. Great with dogs and have an aim to provide them home away from home whilst you donyour thing. Lots of play time with a great backyard and a ton of toys. Our entire family loves dogs even our little baby adore them. Love going out on walks, we have a beautiful creek near our residence where casual strolls are greatperk. We have parks 2 minutes away for play time and picnic where we often go with our dog child and baby for lots of play time and picnics. Services we can provide is day boarding and daytime care.

Hello, I'm Shane, retiree based in Frankston Victoria. I have a 14 year old Papillion Pip who is still quite active. We get out for a short walk daily. I have a medium sized yard with garden to explore and a doggy door. I am an animal lover and your dog will be well looked after and indoors during their stay with Pip and I. Pip gets on very well with other dogs and would love the company and a play mate. My yard is well fenced and secure And can accomate a small to medium sized dog.
I have looked after dogs for my family and friends for many years and Pip has always enjoyed having another dog in her home. my daughter recently suggested dog sitting as she has also enjoyed the experience of looking after dogs in her home.&nbsp;
