For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Palmview QLD for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Palmview QLD Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Palmview QLD sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hey,
my name is Ronja, originally from Germany and I live together with my Chihuahua, Chino.
I grew up on a farm and had animals around me all my life. I absolutely love dogs and have lots of experience looking after all sorts of breeds from Jack Russel to Irish wolfhounds.
My schedule is pretty flexible because I work full time from home and don't have strict hours I need to stick to. My dog is really friendly, loves people, cats and dogs of all sizes but my preference would be a smaller to medium dog, given that he is pretty small. I also have a fully fenced backyard and would take the dogs for a walk during the day.I have also done some travel with Trusted Housesitters and have a 5 rating and quite a view reviews there. Let me know and I can send you my profile as a reference.
In case you have any questions feel free to contact me.
Ronja

Looking for a loving, home-style environment for your furry best friend? I’m here to give you peace of mind while you’re away. My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from a genuine passion for animals and a desire to create a safe, happy space where dogs are treated like family not just pets. While I don’t have formal professional experience yet, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from small to extra-large breeds, and I have recently graduated from Dog Psychology, Behaviour and Training. I’m excited to gain hands on experience and continue growing my skills. I offer boarding, daycare, and flexible dog walking, as well as administering medications if needed. I can also provide basic training support where suitable. I only accept vaccinated pets and currently board a maximum of two dogs to ensure quality care and attention. Your dog will never feel alone I’m home most days, available 24/7, and they’ll receive constant love from myself and my household. I also offer a free meet-and-greet to ensure the perfect fit. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness always come first.

I am from Penang, Malaysia. Just settled down in Mackay since March 2023. Was a doctor back in Malaysia but would rather now enjoy my life while my husband is still working as a doctor at the Base Hospital.
I enjoy spending time with my pets at back at Malaysia. Used to have a dog but it passed away due to old age. I previously found a sick stray cat outside my house back in Malaysia and adopted him.I'm unable to bring him here from Malaysia due to tight regulations and I am really sad about it. This is also one the reason I want to be a petsitter in Australia. It's so that I can still be surrounded by lovely pets.
I wish to have pet lovers as friends and I will really love my time spent with pets.
I stay with my husband in a fully fenced house with a small yard.
My schedule is mostly flexible as I am a home baker currently and I will stay with your pets the whole day.
Services:
Pet Boarding/day careYour furbabies stay at my place. Pets are allowed indoors and outdoors. Will bring them out for frequent car rides and walks at different areas (parks, gardens, beaches, etc), or as per owner's preference. If required, am able to bring pets out for grooming as well (at owner's expense).
House SittingI stay at your place where your furbabies are more comfortable in a familiar environment. Walks and grooming as per above in "pet boarding". Please do provide a room for me to sleep/stay overnight in this case. My husband may also come over when he is off work to play with the furbabies and care for them together with me.
Home visitsI will be staying with them for a few hours and play with them is what I usually do. I will also walk the dog according to the usual timing of preferrence.
Dog walkingMinimum 30 minutes
I will usually organise a meet up before accepting bookings.
Pet things to prepare or bring- Bed and blanket- Bowls- Food- Treats- Lead/harness - Toys- Poo bags- Wet wipes (as I like to keep them clean after a walk)- Pads (if not properly toilet trained)- For cats: scratching post, litter box, cat litter
Feel free to contact me if you need a friend for your fur babies when you are away. :)

Hi there my name is Michelle, and I love animals...especially dogs!
My husband and I just moved to Australia recently and can't wait to get involved with some doggies here!
I grew up with a number of pets including a dog, who was called Ginger, a hampster, and other various animals along the way (The fish was the least interactive pet- much prefered the dog!).
My parents often took in foster dogs and puppies, so I was constantly around dogs. I have worked for other platfrom, a Canadian company that offers dog walking and dog sitting. I have taken care of many breeds from labs, dauschounds, terriers, greyhounds, pointers, doodles, etc! The doodles/bernadoodles are my fav, they just have such a lovely disposition and seem to get along with everyone. I have my own lovely doodle named Nello- though he's more of a rug/ teddy bear than a dog.
Anyway, love to give a dog some good exercise- with the odd treat. Positive behaviour reinforcement!
I am able to do 30-60 minutes for a walk. If it is a home visit between 1-3 hours. Would prefer to have 1 dog at once, or 2 dogs from the same home is also ok.
Happy to run with the dog, or go for a long scenic walk, or even a frisbee toss!
I believe a dog that is well exercised, and shown affection is the happiest kind of dog (and usually better behaved!)
Can't wait to meet the next doggy!

Hello, I’ve spent my life around all kinds of animals and adore them.I have more than 8 years' worth of experience doing on and off petsitting in other people’s homes.I'm 30 and have looked after all sorts of pets with different needs.I try to keep to the pet's routines as closely as possible and be attentive to the small details for them.I can care for pets for check ins, walks, feeding, overnight stays, daycare etc.I work from home but still like to be pre-advised if a pet has very high supervision needs please, and is unable to be alone for certain amounts of time, and made aware of any behavioural issues, or any special requirements.I want your pets to feel as calm and comfortable as they can while you're away and am happy to accommodate them as best I can.I’m available anytime as I work from home (unless I’m booked into another petsit). For house visits that are check-ins/feeds, I will spend about 30-45 minutes with your pet. On walks I will spend at least 30 minutes exercising them.I can do housesits that are any length of time unless I’m booked at another one.My experience with pets includes owning horses, cats, birds, dogs, and petsitting dogs and cats.I have a police check that I can happily supply.Reviews are helpful for my profile and I appreciate you leaving one if you wish to.
