For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Ottoway SA for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Ottoway SA Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Ottoway SA sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

I am a big dog lover, we have a Labrador ourselves in the family and he is my best friend. (Not our dog/ He doesn't live with us) I signed up on paw shake to get a chance to meet more gorgeous dogs and spend my day playing with them. It certainly is amazing to get to know all the different type of dogs and their characters. Pet sitting has become a big part of my life and I love seeing more and more people leaving their pets with a pet sitter at home instead of bringing them to a totally different environment with usually also a stranger to look after them which can be so stressfull for your precious fur baby. My biggest dream is to one day have a big property with lots of different dogs.A bit more about ourselves:I'm from germany and I came to Australia at about 6 years ago. I'm self employed as a disability support worker and I usually work from 9-3pm.My partner is Australian, also disability support worker and he works part-time.What services I'm offering:-pet sitting at your house-Doggy daycare at your house -dog walking -pick up and drop offI can't have your pet at my place, as it's an apartment without backyard.I'm happy to take your pup for long walks, I have my car set up to take them for a trip to the beach, forest or just the dog park.

A safe, comfortable and caring home-away-from-home for your feathered friends while you’re away. ️

I offer bird boarding in my own home. As an avid animal lover, I have owned and looked after various birds over the years, from budgies and cockatiels to galahs and chickens.

Your bird will stay in my home and receive individual attention and care in a calm environment. Owners will need to provide a suitable, secure and transportable cage for their bird, along with their usual food and any other essential supplies they need.

During their stay, I’ll provide fresh chop and clean water daily, regular attention, daily cage cleaning and supervised interaction where appropriate. I’ll also send you photos and updates so you can see how your bird is settling in and know they’re being looked after.

Every bird has their own personality and preferences, so I’ll let them settle in at their own pace. Whether they enjoy lots of interaction or are happier keeping to themselves, I’ll respect what they’re comfortable with.

Before accepting a booking, please let me know if your bird has any special behavioural issues or requires any out-of-the-ordinary care. This helps me make sure I’m able to provide suitable care for their individual needs.

If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message through Pawshake. I’m happy to chat about your bird and their stay.

Hi! My name is Priscila, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life—I’ve had them since I was 5 years old, and caring for them has always been a big part of who I am.Recently, I was accepted into a PhD program in Australia, and during this time my husband and I had to make the difficult decision to leave our 1-year-old Shiba Inu, Eevee, in Brazil with my parents, as Australia has very strict pet entry requirements. Because of this, I truly understand how important it is to trust someone to care for your pet as if they were family. When we adopted Eevee, we invested a lot of time learning about dog health, behavior, training, and daily needs. I bring that same level of care and attention to every pet I look after. What I offer: Dog boarding & daycare in a safe, calm home environmentDaily walks (typically 30–60 minutes depending on the dog’s energy level and needs)Structured routine, including feeding, playtime, rest, and enrichment activitiesConstant supervision when pets are in my careRegular updates with photos and messages, so you always know how your pet is doingA typical dayYour dog will enjoy a balanced routine with walks, playtime, mental stimulation, and plenty of rest. I adapt the schedule to match your pet’s usual habits as closely as possible, so they feel comfortable and secure.Safety & comfortClean, pet-friendly home with secure spacesNo overcrowding — I prioritize quality care and attentionCareful introductions if there are multiple petsClose monitoring of behavior, appetite, and wellbeingIn case of emergencies I stay attentive to any changes in behavior or health. If anything unusual happens, I will contact you immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the nearest vet. I always follow your instructions and preferences regarding care.

Hi there! My name is Courtnay! I have so much love for animals and love meeting new four legged friends. Two and a half years ago I moved to Australia from Canada, where I was naturally the pet sitter for all my friends and coworkers. Not having a dog myself yet, this has helped fill the void until I can have a beautiful pet companion of my own! I'm happiest with animals and I love getting to know new pets. I'll take all the time they need and deserve for walks, nature adventures, cuddles, pets, and play! I understand an animal's care for it's owner is a unique bond and time apart can create challenges, so I always aim to care for animals to the highest regard and try to keep their routine as close to normal while their owners are away. I have plenty of experience with different breeds of dogs, cats, and varying behaviours and needs an animal may have. Happy to meet each pet where they are at and make the most of our times together!About my home and duty of care: I am happy to host in my own home or yours. I aim to keep the animals routine as close to their normal as possible. Long or short walks, play time, beach, a hike in the woods away from other animals - whatever they need. If a dog needs quiet time and cuddles, or just a play inside or jn the yard that'd great too! Need support training? Let me know their needs and I'll keep it up. I have experience with senior dogs having to give medication as well so I am comfortable with that too.I live just south of the CBD and I work full time as a primary school teacher in the Eastern suburbs. For care provided in the week, I will do early morning walks/plays and make my way back to the animal(s) right after work. However please note that during the work week (unless school holidays) I am unable to provide daytime car and the animals must be able to be left for 8 hours. Thank you!
