I have 2 dogs an 8yr old Dobermann named Jax &amp; a 3yr old Vizsla Merlot.
I also have 2 cats- 6yr old Burmese Meek &amp; 1yr old Ginger Harrow.
They're all animal friendly and get along with all animals. They've all grown up around dogs, cats rabbits.
All minding dogs sleep inside. And come out on walks.
Outside of Dogs I am a professional boxer so I base my availability and schedule to align with training, camps and bouts.

Hello, I'm Shane, retiree based in Frankston Victoria. I have a 14 year old Papillion Pip who is still quite active. We get out for a short walk daily. I have a medium sized yard with garden to explore and a doggy door. I am an animal lover and your dog will be well looked after and indoors during their stay with Pip and I. Pip gets on very well with other dogs and would love the company and a play mate. My yard is well fenced and secure And can accomate a small to medium sized dog.
I have looked after dogs for my family and friends for many years and Pip has always enjoyed having another dog in her home. my daughter recently suggested dog sitting as she has also enjoyed the experience of looking after dogs in her home.&nbsp;

Welcome to Long Dog minding.To facilitate the love and care a dachshund needs, We only mind one families sausage at a time. Your dog will have priority sleeping where ever they usually sleep and if that's in a bed with a human then that is completely acceptable. I provide the care in my home and your lil weanie will be staying with my cavalier Bella who is a very lazy quiet loving little dog. There is a fully secured backyard and walks are offered daily.Im home with my teenage children almost every day and night so they will be with someone 24/7 during there stay. My children and I have had dachshund's around us since the children were born and we just love them.We look forward to sharing the love if and when your in need of a special second home for your sausage.My rate is $50 per night.Please contact me to book in.


I provide a calm, safe and structured home environment where dogs are treated like family, not just a booking.

I currently have my own small dog, so I understand daily routines, behaviour, and how important it is for dogs to feel secure in a new place. My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from genuinely enjoying time with dogs and creating a space where they can relax, feel safe, and be well cared for.

My home is clean, quiet and pet-friendly, with a dedicated indoor area and a secure playpen setup. This allows me to safely manage dogs when needed and ensure they are always supervised. Dogs are never left unattended in unsafe areas.

In terms of routine, dogs will typically receive 2 walks per day depending on their needs and energy level. I am home most of the time, so dogs are rarely left alone, and if I do step out, it is only for short periods.

Dogs will sleep indoors in a comfortable and temperature-controlled environment. I can follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, toilet training (pads available), and rest times.

When introducing a new dog to my own dog, I always do a slow and controlled introduction to ensure both dogs feel comfortable and safe.

For safety outdoors, all dogs are kept on leash at all times. As I do not rely on a backyard setup, I ensure all outdoor activities are controlled and secure.

I can also assist with basic training reinforcement, routine care, and administering simple medication if required.
