For pet parents, one of the hardest things about going to work each day is wondering what your dog will get up to while you are gone. At Pawshake, we understand that dogs need activity and interaction during the day, so why not book your dog with one of our trusted sitters in Mooroolbark VIC for a doggy day care service? You can drop your dog off at the sitter’s home on the way to work or organise with your local Mooroolbark VIC Pawshake sitter to pick up and drop off your dog for you.

Pet day care is a great way to keep your dog mentally and physically active during the day so that you can come home to a happy, relaxed dog. Pawshake’s home day care service is great for young dogs who need constant supervision: puppy daycare allows your pup to maintain a consistent routine, which is important during the toilet training process. It’s also a great option for dogs who need extra care and attention, or those who are extra active.

Our sitters who offer doggy day care and puppy daycare services are more adaptable than your average big day care centre. Numbers are kept small and some Pawshake sitters will only take in one dog at a time. This means they can work around your timing and any special requirements your dog may have. So, let your four-legged best friend enjoy their day with a fun and loving Mooroolbark VIC sitter who will shower them with love and dedicated attention. On top of that, you will also get photos and updates during the day so that you can follow your dog’s day care adventures!

Every day care booking also comes included with The Pawshake Guarantee, which includes veterinary coverage, customer service support 7 days a week and more.

Hi! I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter who truly enjoys spending time with dogs and puppies.
I have experience caring for my own pets, as well as pets belonging to family and friends. Many of my pet-sitting opportunities have also come through word of mouth and recommendations from happy pet owners.
My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, relaxed, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I give each pet plenty of attention and companionship, and I’m happy to follow their usual routine so they can feel right at home.
Depending on your pet’s needs, their care can include:
Walks, playtime, and different activities
Meals provided on time according to your instructions
Keeping their sleeping area comfortable
Cleaning and general pet care
Lots of attention and friendly company
I’ll treat your pet like the king or queen of the home!
For your peace of mind, I can also send you photo and video updates while you’re away, so you can relax and enjoy your trip or focus on work knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.
Meet & Greet
If you’d like to arrange a meet-and-greet session, simply make a booking through the app. We can then arrange a convenient time to meet, get to know each other, discuss your pet’s personality and routine, and make sure we’re a great fit.
I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend!

I’m originally from Mexico and hold a Bachelor’s in Veterinary Medicine (from Mexico). I live with my husband, our daughter (15) and son (19
), plus a small female Chihuahua and a male cat who also goes outdoors. I host small dogs only in our family home and keep things calm, kind and safe.
What I offer
Home boarding / daycare (small dogs only): one household at a time (up to two small dogs from the same family)
House visits (at your home): great if you prefer your dog stays in their own space; also happy to visit cats
20–30 min or 45–60 min visits
Feeding, fresh water, toilet break/short walk, play and cuddles
Light tidy of pet areas / litter scoop, bring in mail, quick home check
Meds given as prescribed by your vet
Dog walking: standard 30-min walks (60-min on request)

Every booking includes:
Feeding and fresh water as you ask, enrichment (puzzle toys, gentle cue practice), light grooming (brushing, quick wipe-down, eyes/ears), and daily photo/video updates. Vaccinated pets only (flea/tick/worming up to date).
Medication & health (legal and safe)
I can give owner-provided oral/topical medicines and owner-provided injections (e.g., insulin) exactly as prescribed by your vet and shown on the label/plan.
I don’t diagnose, prescribe, change doses, give sedatives/anaesthetics, or do vet-only procedures.
Please bring the vet-labelled meds, a simple dosing plan, and your vet’s contact. I keep brief notes after each dose.

Home setup
Family household: husband, daughter (14), son (18)
Resident pets: small Chihuahua (female) and a cat who goes outdoors
Dogs must be used to living with cats (no chasing or fixating). I can separate spaces with baby gates/doors and rotate yard time so everyone stays relaxed.
Sleeping: your dog can snooze in their bed in the lounge, in my bedroom, or crated if that’s their normal
Secure outdoor area; gates locked and checked each outing; dogs supervised outside (I don’t leave them alone in the yard)

Walks & routine
Standard 30-minute walks (60-minute on request), adjusted for age, weather and fitness
Most pups enjoy 1–2 walks a day plus play and rest
I study/work from home part-time, so I plan my day around your dog’s needs

Supervision & alone time
I follow platform rules: during boarding, dogs are not left alone more than 3 hours; during daycare, not more than 1 hour
I’m home most of the day; any outings are short and planned
If your dog needs near-constant company, tell me—we can arrange it

Bookings & what to bring
Weekdays: days and evenings; weekends/holidays: with notice (limited spots)
Bring food, lead/harness, bed/crate, favourite toys, and any meds
We’ll do a Meet & Greet to cover routine, allergies, triggers, and an emergency plan
Updates in English or Spanish

Good to know
Small dogs only for hosting; house visits available for dogs and cats
Must be cat-friendly and okay around a small dog
No bitches in heat; please advise any allergies, fears or triggers

Hello, dogs are my world and my greatest love.
I work as a government detection (sniffer) dog trainer and handler for two days a week and the rest of the time I work from my office at home. This is why I'm keen to open my house to dogs who require day sitting.
My own working dogs can go and stay with my father in law for these days as he loves having them and we conveniently live in the same street. My house backs onto a quiet park and I have my own gate access so I can walk and exercise dogs easily, even work on some fun and positive long lead recall with your dogs which is always the hardest thing for us all to train.
I can also give advice on puppy rearing and management, training and behavioural issues and separation anxiety. I'm also dog first aid and CPR trained.
I have the equipment to provide rest and space for dogs during the day.

Hi pet mums and dads!
I'm Thanh, a young professional and a purrr-fessional when it comes to looking after your furry friends.
With years of experience from growing up with dog of all sizes and temperments, I have an absolute passion for animals and understand every pet has their unique needs. As for my lifestyle, I work full-time but majority of it is done remotely (not in the office). Being a homebody, I love spending time indoors and only step out from time-to-time to go on walks or run errands, allowing the rest of my time to spend entertaining and caring for your pet.
There are lots of dog-friendly areas in my neighbourhood and I enjoy going on daily walks to the nearby lake and shops. I currently live away from my family and pets and have so much love, attention and belly rubs to offer a four-legged friend!
From daily check-ins to overnight stays, rest assured your pets are in loving hands, receiving updates and affection as if they were my own. Let's chat about how I can provide the best care for your beloved pets!

A loving, home-away-from-home stay for your cat ️
Hi everyone!
If you’re a cat parent, you’ll probably understand this… sometimes it’s actually harder to go away and leave your cat behind than your dog!
Taking cats to a friend’s house isn’t always an option, and while having someone pop in to feed them is also possible but it's sometimes too much to ask for a long time.
I have two cats and one dog myself, but don’t worry—your cat baby will have their own private room, so they won’t need to interact with my fur babies unless that’s something we discuss. Although they are generally chill for other pets. The room has a cat tower by the window where they can relax and watch the birds, and because I mostly work from home in that room, they’ll have plenty of love throughout the day. If they’re feeling playful, I’ll happily spend time playing with them too!
I’m a huge animal lover and have spent years learning about cat care since welcoming my first rescue cat into my family 9 years ago. I know every cat has their own personality, and I’ll make sure your little one feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
No need to bring a litter tray—I’ll provide one. Just pack their favourite litter, food, and any special items that help them feel at home.
I’ll care for your cat as if they were one of my own, so you can relax and enjoy your holiday or focus on whatever you need to do, knowing they’re in caring hands. ️

Hello I'm Canice and my husband is Benny, We love to exercise everyday where we do our daily walk to our nearby parks and trails at least 6 times a week for around 30 to 45 mins each day. So We love to spend our time with your dog and let them have the exercises they require.
For our walks and house visits, you can choose between 2 time slots:

30 mins to 40 mins - $30
45 mins to 1 hr (depends on weather & our schedule that day) - $40

We love being a pet sitters, as We love animals especially dogs, and the only thing that's missing is having a dog. We are not professional, but we do love dogs and We have all the time necessary to give your dog a good & healthy walk each day while you are at work. If any behavioral issues please let us know.

We previously had 4 dogs (husky, jack Russell, mongrel, shiba) over our life, so we had experiences with small to large sized dog, they only parted from us due to old age.

I promise you that we will look after your pet/s like they are our own. We don't do walks for multiple dogs in 1 session, we only walk 1 dog at a time. And unlike some, we actually walk with your dog and not just sit around playing with the phone and just let your dog run around the park by itself, it's our pleasure to exercise and spend time with your dog, so u can be sure that your dog will enjoy every walk we provide.

If it's not far, we can sometimes do home visit to feed your dog and give it lots of hugs and cuddles.
Do let us know if there are any walking location preference Eg. walk near your house, a park or trail etc

And in addition, we can take some pictures or video of your dogs during our walks so you will have the latest updates if you require.

We will be happy to visit your dog and walk it in other suburbs, extra for petrol fees for distance that are more than 4km from our home in Donvale ($5 for each 5km) will be charged.

Also, for holiday seasons, there will be surcharge, can discuss details at meet and greet.

We do offer boarding service in our home, but we are only able to accommodate tiny to small dogs, so please check with us before your confirmation thank you. We must have a meet & greet first before any first timer boarding at our home and normally will need to have at least 1 trail boarding run before so we can get to know your dog and vice versa.

Thank you for considering us and we hope you can give us a chance to exercise with your dog (s) while you are away at work everyday. If you have any questions, me and my hubby are fluent in three languages (English, Cantonese and Mandarin), feel free to ask us

My dog sitting services offer your furry friend a home away from home on my picturesque 5-acre property, where care and comfort are my top priorities. Whether you’re away for a few hours, days, or weeks, I provide personalized attention tailored to your dog’s needs. With multiple fully enclosed play areas, a spacious fenced arena for supervised activities, and plenty of grassy fields for free exploration, your dog will enjoy a perfect balance of playtime, exercise, and relaxation.
My property is also home to two friendly resident dogs, five alpacas, and playful sheep, creating a unique, enriching, and safe environment for your pet to explore. From interactive play sessions to quiet cuddle time, I make sure every dog feels loved and cared for as if they were my own. With me, you can have peace of mind knowing your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for while you're on holiday so are they!
